My first customer service experience I will discuss was a positive one. I went to a restaurant name Stephanie’s for my birthday a couple months ago. Stephanie’s is a small soul food restaurant owned by a lady name Stephanie. When we entered the restaurant the hostess greeted us with a smile and was very pleasant. Because my friends had balloons and cake they were eager to know whose birthday it was and once they found out it was mines it became there mission to make sure I had a wonderful night. Once we were seated the waitress came to the table with a big grin saying “happy birthday”. She immediately started telling us what the specials were and took our drink orders. While we waited on our entrees she checked on us regularly and made sure our glasses never got empty. She and another waitress brought out our entrees and the other waitress was just a pleasant. About five minutes of us eating the Owner came out to wish me happy birthday and asked how everything was. Once we were done there were about three waitresses that came with dessert and sung happy birthday to me. I had one of the best experiences ever at this small business restaurant and I told everyone about the great food and service this restaurant offered on my birthday. I have been back several times since then and the service was the same.
My bad experience was a month prior at a small Italian owned restaurant that my Mom wanted to go to for her birthday. The beginning of the dinner looked like it was going to go very well. The waitress was nice at first and the atmosphere was alright when you first entered the establishment. When we ordered our food the waitress walked to the back and took off her hair net and got us bread after touching her hair and my sister saw it. When the waitress brought the bread back to us she asked if we can have more because she saw what happened. The waitress I think got
