We pride ourselves in the representation of love, respect, family and purity of our beloved heritage. Family is the long line of people we are force to love, respect and purify amongst the outter look upon society. We as a people understand our culture and the ways of it because we are raised to achieve the best of who we (& our families) are, under the unwritten bylaws of the samoan ways. My opinion upon life amongst myself and the people of Samoa, is that we are searching for greater and new meanings or purposes to our lives in America and forgetting the true reason why we are considered the HAPPY people of Polynesia & honestly, the Samoan people are farrrrrrr from happy. Hatred and darkness has been planted in many hearts, and so I considered the heart of Polynesia to be one COLD HEART. Born and raised in America, I've come to believe that my heritage is one unique and rich culture. Greatness has shined upon us in many ways. The respect of our older generations and our culture as one has been our number one flawless greatness, we have also given men and women to the most powerful military known to mankind on earth to fight for our rights and freedom that was given to us (we never earned any rights or freedom in America), many have succeeded in the National Football League, many have succeeded in the line of education, and the list can further move on but we cannont sit, stand, walk, run, jog, fly or even cry about what we deserve without shining our weaknesses. I've grown to learn the darkness of the Samoan people. The darkness of which I speak of is HATRED! Yes we, HATE, and when we HATE, we HATE! Samoans living in America, Samoa, Europe, New Zealand, or any other place that is named, will show you guaranteed, more than one face. We live in our precious society forgetting what made us. Many may say, oh I'm from here or I'm from there. In reality you considered yourself Samoan, you're from Samoa. Many have denied their Samoan race. But whether or not your birth certificate states it, you're effin SAMOAN ! I believe we are here to prove that we as the children of Samoa are just as great as any other cultures kids. We judge one another because of our stupidity and cockiness and forgetting we are brothers and sisters born from the same parents, Adam and Eve. If I'm speaking nothing but lines, please say something. On a personal note, I pride myself because of my family. But little do people know, I can never look at my extended family the same ever again. We show love and respect towards our "family", and we get spitted on. People look at my family as if we are whores and poor, just because we have children with no marriage and their husbands make a few more bucks then we do and their bank accounts is flowing with nothing but their HUSBANDs money and they sit there &act as if they have nothing stuck up their asses. People speak as if we will never find out the truth of their hatred towards us. For many people, to hate and talk shit about the ones I love and those who have helped to create me is pathetic. I was born to two people who were not married nor allowed to affiliate with eachother because of their status. One was single and the other wasn't. Not understanding my surroundings, I grew up to discover that the man that raised me wasn't my father. The people around me, who said they loved me were completely lying to me. Typical story cut short, secrets and lies run deep in the Samoan heritage and people cannot deny that. Till this day, my own "father" still cannot show face to me nor tell his family that I do exist. Lying to me or your family isn't going fix anything. AND I LOVE MY MAMA REGARDLESS OF WHAT ANYONE SAYS ! So, if anyone has anything to say, let me know . People need to stop drowning in their own misery and wake up. You're nothing more than what made you. Stop pretending you're better than any other hamo out there. Lying will not help any issue succeed. Hatred will continue to make us look like shit or better yet, make YOU look like shit! We as a people should rise above the status quote and prove to other cultures that we belong in this world just as much as them. Believe it or not, we are seen as dogs to the American society. I suggest we truly show the world what we're really made of ! Fa'a Samoa is what everyone trashes now days. We shouldn't throw our heritage away, just because of the ignorance that flows in and out of the assholes that make us look like shit, lets just be proud that we come from a strong country with rich blood flowing through its veins.
