In his documentary, Super Size Me, Morgan Spurlock created an extremely effective argument that teaches the public about the effects of eating fast foods. In his documentary, he uses ethos, pathos, and logos to fully convince his audience that fast foods are toxic. By showing the viewers cartoon-like posters, Spurlock creates Pathos in his documentary. These posters show images meant to disgust or anger viewers, which can cause feelings of distrust towards fast food chains. Logos is shown very heavily throughout the documentary, such when it is stated that “Nearly 100 million Americans today are either overweight or obese.” This statistic, along with others, support Spurlock’s opinion that fast foods are destructive with facts, making his argument
