Siemens is a leading technology business and one of the largest electrical and electronics engineering companies in the world. In the UK, it employs over 20,000 people and is in the top three electrical and electronics companies in the world. It has been a pioneer in innovation since 1843 when Siemens installed the first street light in Godalming, Surrey. In 2006, Siemens UK invested over £74.4 million on research and development.

The company designs and manufactures products and services for both industrial customers and consumers. It operates in three main sectors:

* In industry, Siemens develops systems for transport, for example, London’s traffic monitoring for its congestion charge scheme. It is also the second largest provider of trains for major UK rail companies like FirstGroup. Siemens also provides lighting and electrical systems for major construction projects. * In energy, Siemens’ work is wide-ranging. It makes systems for transmitting and distributing power for power companies including building power stations and wind farms. It also provides energy metering services, for example, water meters for businesses and consumers. * In healthcare, it specialises in equipment to help medical diagnosis, such as MRI scanners and imaging technology. It also provides equipment for testing blood in laboratories.

Siemens’ technology appears in every aspect of everyday life, for example: * the electronic ‘eye’ (Hawk Eye) helps umpires in tennis and cricket matches * 9 out of 10 cars contain Siemens products * 20,000 domestic products like toasters are used in homes every day * systems such as Pelican crossings keep people safe - car parking systems help guide traffic quickly to free spaces, keeping traffic moving and reducing pollution on the roads.

...The impact of religion is sometimes apparent in many different forms of art. One type of artistic expression that religion is sometimes expressed in is music. Whether it is specifically Christian-based music or secular, musicians of all genres may eventually write a song or sing about their religious beliefs at some point. There is a very broad spectrum of diversity in music. People from all around the world with different backgrounds, race, religion, and style can express themselves in this form. Growing up I was exposed to many different genres of music. Hip-hop, which is classified as a subculture that originated from an African American community in the 1970’s, has always been intriguing to me and is a huge part of who I am. There are four elements of Hip-Hop; rapping, DJing, break-dancing, and graffiti. I will be focusing on the music aspect of Hip-Hop and the large impact religion has on some of these artists that perform Hip-Hop music. Over the years, Hip-Hop music has gained a bad reputation. What I learned when reading this article is that deaf people like to play music just like any hearing person does. They may not be able to hear it or hear it well but they can feel it. They pump the bass up extra loud so that they are able to feel the beet. What surprised me is that one of the members of Silent Mob James L. Taylor III took music classes and sang in the gospel quire. I also learned that when deaf rappers rap they move their arms wildly to the music but aren’t always in sync with the music. Their hand movements spell out the words to those who sign. What also surprised me is that deaf people like music and actually have groups. I wouldn’t expect that since they are unable to hear I wouldn’t expect them to play music on a radio or play music themselves like having their own group. There are eleven numbers used in constructing Numerology charts. These numbers are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, and 22. Larger numbers that occur from adding the numbers in the complete birth date or from the values assigned to each name are reduced by adding the digits together until the sum achieved is one of the core numbers. Merely add the components of the larger number together (repeatedly, if necessary) until a single digit (or the "master" numbers 11 or 22) results. Each of these numbers represents different characteristics and expressions. Master numbers are the only exception to rule of reducing to the single digit.
