Óneira is the Goddess of prophecies and dreams, she is the daughter of Hypnos and Pasithea. Her father Hypnos is the God of sleep who lives in the underworld and her mother Pasithea is the Goddess of relaxation and hallucination. Together they had four sons, Morpheus, Phobetor and Phantasos. They are all deities of dreams; they are called Oneiroi. Óneira was born last, she is the youngest of her siblings. Her mother Pasithea had three sons she loved, but she always wished for a daughter. One night, Pasithea was praying for a daughter near the river Lethe which was full of poppy flowers. Hearing her prayer her husband Hypnos granted her wish. One of the poppy flower started to grow bigger and inside it was Óneira, an alluring Goddess
