Some salient attributes (i.e., speed, bandwidth fluctuation rate) of WIMAX based and EDGE/EVDO based Internet services that affect the attitude of the customers have been selected which customers emphasizes to take purchase-decision as well as usage continuation decision. Two types of wireless Internet service providers (WIMAX and EDGE/EVDO) and ten salient attributes have been considered for this study. It has been found from the study that customers form more positive attitude towards WIMAX based Internet service than EDGE/EVDO based service. Observed differences in mean attitude of different attributes for the two categories of wireless Internet services are measured through Z-test to test the significance of those differences. Findings of this study may be used as an index by the Internet service providers for improvement of their services to satisfy the customers. In a two-port network analysis, the circuit under test is considered as a black box. Only the input and output voltages and currents are being examined. This information obtained is then used to obtained the network parameters which will simplify the analysis of a two-port network. This experiment consists of 2 parts: (i) Two-port network parameters and (ii) Transient response of a two-port network In the first part, the Y parameters and transmission parameters are to be determined. There are two networks (A and B) to be connected. The parameters’ values are determined experimentally for network A whereas for network B, the parameters are obtained using calculation. Then the 2 networks are connected in cascaded and parallel to determine the parameters experimentally. The results obtained are verified with the 2-port network principle. The experiment of transient response mainly covers the use of the storage oscilloscope to determine the first overshoot and undershoot. Besides, the oscillation period T is also determined. ...People with disabilities represent a significant minority population in the United States; however, they are relatively underrepresented in the American workforce, in spite of the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act in 1990. Many experts agree that the continuing unemployment of people with disabilities is due in large part to the fact that potential employers and co-workers still maintain negative attitudes toward them as a group. These negative attitudes appear to be rooted in a lack of knowledge about people with disabilities, as well as the perpetuation of erroneous stereotypes about them. Some scholars and advocates (e.g., Lee and Rodda, 1994; Unger, 2002) assert that training designed to challenge existing beliefs is the key to changing these negative attitudes. Our research sought to test that assertion by determining the effects of a brief educational intervention on individuals' knowledge about and attitudes toward people with disabilities in the workplace. Using a Solomon four-group quasi-experimental design, undergraduate students were placed into one of four conditions and completed a survey that included a knowledge assessment and the Attitude Toward Disabled Persons Scale (Yuker and Block, 1986). Results indicate that the educational intervention had a significant impact on both participants' knowledge levels and their attitudes, even after controlling for gender and prior experience with people with disabilities.
