...Organizational Behavior Jekyll and Hyde 1-18 I think I would probably give a higher salary than I would actually be willing to accept. I believe that everyone does this when they are going to be bargaining. I do this when I sell things online because I know that most people will try to bargain with me and instead of feeling like you are being rude and not going down on a price it makes the buyer feel like they are getting a better deal and that you are giving a little. It is probably not the moral thing to do because it is sort of like lying in a roundabout way. If I was willing to take a salary of $60,000/year I would probably start at $70,000 or $75,000. I don’t feel it would violate their transparency culture because they are asking you and they have no idea if the number you are giving them is your bottom dollar or not. 1-19 I think it would be something that I would check into and take into consideration for sure. Whenever I read something that is a bad review I feel the need to at least do a little more research. This could be an accusation that is not even true. Like with anything people can make up false accusations about a company just because they are mad because they were fired or not offered a job. 1-20 I think it would play a part in the decision of which company to use. I would rather work for a company that is open to benefiting society and to do things for the good of society. I would rather work for an ethical company than one that is not. In the...

...but also that it was connected to the triangle in some way, a theory he proposed in his bestselling 1974 book “The Bermuda Triangle”. The mystery has since been promoted in thousands of books, magazines, television shows, and websites. Also known as the Devil’s Triangle, the Bermuda Triangle consists of a region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean, and is defined by points in Bermuda, Florida and Puerto Rico. It stretches across less than a thousand miles on any one side. The abnormalities on the sea were first noted in 1950 by Edward Jones in the daily newspaper Miami Herald published in Florida. However the mystery starting catching wide-scale attention in 1952 when George Sand wrote in Fate magazine about incidents like Flight-19, a training flight of five torpedo bomber planes, all of which went missing during a routine training session in 1945 and never returned. A vaguely defined expanse of the Atlantic Ocean triangulated between Puerto Rico, Florida and Bermuda has enjoyed a rather sinister though perhaps largely unearned reputation for decades. Dubbed the Bermuda Triangle, this area has been linked to a number of disappearances dating back to 1945, when a squadron of five US Navy aircraft on a training mission vanished without a trace. People have always known there was something was something up with that place because when Columbus sailed he reported seeing strange lights and in one instant he reported seeing a huge red flaming fireball type of thing falling...

...Miguel A. Rodriguez Instructor Advanced Composition ENG 300 June 19, 2013 Music and Lyrics: Ruben Blades (Looking For America) I’m searching for you, America and fear that I will not find you your footprint has been lost in the dark. (Line 4) I’m calling you America but you are not answering me. You have been made to vanish by those who deny truth.(Line 8) Surrounded by shadows we deny all that’s true until there is justice we will never have peace.(Line 12) Living under Dictatorships I search for you and I cannot find you. Your body tortured is nowhere to be found. (Line 16) If one’s dream is everybody’s dream to break the chains and begin our journey Let’s be confident Let’s go ahead, my race, Let’s preserve time for those to come.(Line 24) You’ve been abducted, America Your mouth has been gagged and today it’s our turn to bring you freedom. I’m calling you America our future awaits us and before it dies on us we will find you.(Line 33) I’m searching for you America. I’m calling you America Oh, Oh Fighting for our race and our freedom And we will find you among the darkness, You’ve been vanished by those who’re afraid of your truth. While we search for the truth Searching for our America Mama and papa’s dream And it’s our turn today to set you free. (Line 43)“Looking for America” 2013. Ruben Blades website. ...Euro Watch Company Report 1 ) The Euro Watch Company assembles expensive wristwatches and then sells them to retailers throughout Europe. The watches are assembled with two assembly lines with below specification: Line 1: Old equipment Less reliable Defect rate of 2% Capacity: 500 watches per hour Line 2: New equipment More reliable Defect rate of 1% Capacity: 500 watches per hour We need to find the smallest number of defected watches each line produces independently in a given hour with success rate of 99% The distribution is a binomial distribution since we have 500 independent and identical trials with a certain probability of success and we see a defected or non- defected option therefore in the excel file we should use the command BINOMDIST. Number of trials is 500 and for cumulative we should consider 1 as we want to have the probability of less than or equal to K defects. As we can see in below tables the smallest defected number that reaches the rate of 99% is 18 watches for line 1 and 11 defected for line 2, which is obvious since line 2 is newer, and with lower defect rate. line 2 99% 1% 500 Line 2 Line line 1 Defect-free 98% Defective 2% Made watches per hour 500 Defected amount (k) Line 1 Defected amount (k) 0 0.0000 1 0.0005 2 0.0026 3 0.0098 4 0.0281 5 0.0652 6 0.1276 7 0.2175 8 0.3305 9 0.4567 10 0.5830 11 0.6979 12 0.7935 13 0.8667 14 0.9186 15 0.9530 16 0.9743 17 0.9866 18 0.9934 19 0.9969 20 0.9986 21 0.9994 ...
