Revelation 7:1-8
And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. And I heard the number of them which were sealed: [and there were] sealed an hundred [and] forty [and] four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. Of the tribe of Juda [were] sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben [were] sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad [were] sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Aser [were] sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nephthalim [were] sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses [were] sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Simeon [were] sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi [were] sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar [were] sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Zabulon [were] sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph [were] sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin [were] sealed twelve thousand.
By the way, when the winds are released, that’s the tribulation, the period of the plagues, the time of trouble such as never seen in the history of the world. Now the reason for the sealing is to identify those that are going to go through with the tribulation so that their lives are preserved or are spared. That’s the reason why it says before the winds are released seal my servants on their foreheads. In other words it is a mark of protection for God’s people who will go through tribulation when the winds of strife are released. Now who are they who are sealed? Verse 4
Now, the is a critical question we must ask before we go on to talk about the 144,000, and that is when will the 144,000 live in the history of the world. There is no doubt that the 144,000 are those who will be alive when Jesus comes.

...Specialty Toys, Inc. WEATHER TEDDY Case study: Specialty Toys, Inc. aims to identify the best order quantity of its new product “Weather Teddy” to meet with the demand of the market for this kind of products. The Management department sort out different propositions of quantities to order from the Taiwanese manufacturer. The aim of this case study is to perform statistical studies on the propositions of the Management department in order to perform a recommendation for the best quantity to order associated with the best profit projections. PROCEDURE: FIRST: As indicated in the memo of the Management department, we need to use the sales forecaster’s prediction de approximate the demand distribution. We assume “X” to be the demand of the new toy. X follows a normal distribution with a mean “µ=20,000” and a standard deviation “σ” (unknown). As stated before, Specialty’s senior sales forecaster predicted an expected demand of 20,000 unites with a 95% probability percentage that demand would be between 10,000 and 30,000 units: P(10,000≤X≤30,000) = 0.95 We know that the Z-score formula is: z=(X-μ)/σ so the probability can be written as follows: P((10000-μ)/σ ≤ (X-μ)/σ ≤ (30000-μ)/σ ) = 0.95 P((10000-20000)/σ ≤ Z ≤ (30000-20000)/σ) = 0.95 From tables of areas under the standard normal curve with a 95% prediction score: (30000-20000)/σ = 1.96 σ = (30000-20000)/1.96 =10000/1.96 = 5102 So the demand “X” follows a ND with a mean “µ=20,000” and a standard...

...Mathematics in Accounting: What you need to know Contrary to many beliefs, you do not need the math skills of a “genius” to be a successful accountant. In fact, if you know how to add, subtract, divide and multiply, you are ready to venture into learning an accounting career. “Mathematics is less related to accounting than it is to philosophy." -Leonard Adleman Accounting is the system of recording and summarizing business and financial transactions, then analyzing, verifying, and reporting the results. It involves a lot of adding numbers together in designated groups, performing the calculations necessary and coming up with an end result. Because the information is constantly changing in the financial world, accounting is done on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis on different levels. Therefore the mathematics of accounting consists mainly of basic Algebra as well as knowledge of basic Statistics. Most of the math done in accounting is done with a program that does the calculations for you or is done on a computer, so processing the math on your own is not necessary. Today I will introduce the most commonly used algebraic equation in accounting that is found on the Balance sheet of the financial statements; The Accounting Equation. Arithmetic: A branch of mathematics that deals with nonnegative real numbers including the transfinite cardinals; with the application of the operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. New Testament Summaries

...Bible Book Summaries New Testament Matthew Matthew is that of the gospel genre. Matthew is the first book of the New Testament. The book of Matthew proclaims the good news that God is Emmanuel ("God with us"), that Jesus is God's Messiah whose teaching, healing, suffering, death, and resurrection now constitute a new disciple community, and that this Jesus Messiah, with all power and authority, commissions this community with the promise that he will be with them forever. Matthew uses the OT to clearly show that Jesus fulfilled the words of the OT prophets. Matthew showed the Jewish the love Christ had for them. Matthew intended to show through his recordings such as the Sermon on the Mount, and a collection of parables spoken by Jesus, as well as the arrest, crucifixion, and resurrection of Christ, that Jesus was the true prophesied Messiah for the Jewish people. Luke Luke is that of the gospel genre. Luke is known for being one of the most beautiful books of the Bible. The book of Luke compares Jesus to that of the gospels. His accounts start with a brief insight to the parents of Jesus, the birth of His cousin, and John the Baptist. Luke also records the journey of Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem, where the birth of Jesus took place, and a genealogical record of Jesus through His mother, Mary. Luke also records some of the more narrative stories of Jesus, displaying His love and compassion for forgiveness, such as The Prodigal Son, The Rich Man and Lazarus,...

...Kelly Weston L25608488 BIBL 104 September 28, 2013 Summary of the books of the New Testament Books Matthew The book of Matthew is in the gospel genre. The book of Matthew starts with the genealogy of Jesus. It tells the story of Jesus’ birth from the Virgin Mary. In this book King Herod decrees that any baby under the age of two in the area of Bethlehem was to be killed. When Jesus goes back to Nazareth he is baptized by John the Baptist. He then begins to preach about Heaven and restates the Law. During this time Jesus healed many people. At this time he had his Disciples with him and they witnessed his miracles and his teachings. The Pharisees and High Priests considered him a threat and began to plot to have him killed. This is where Judas, one of the disciples comes in and turns on Jesus. He turns him in and he is crucified on the cross. Three days later he rises from the dead and sends word to his Disciples that he has returned. Acts The book of Acts is from the narrative genre. The book of Acts starts with a retelling of Jesus’ life before and after the crucifixion. It is a good example of how the early church operated. It shows God’s power and His wisdom. In this book Matthias is chosen to replace Judas as a disciple. The apostles continue to preach God’s word and the Apostles are arrested and they are released from prison by an Angel of God. We again see an angel come to Peters rescue when he is arrested and James is killed. The book...
