Abstract
Immigration is a big deal now in the United States. Laws are getting stricter about this situation of having illegal immigrants coming to America. People that are legal and illegal want to be treated the same because sometimes the other half has benefits then the other. This problem is being solved illegal immigrants that are coming to America are being helped from U.S Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to process their visa for those that qualify. Many forms for application are being done annually. Data entered onto the form electronically will become readable in a new barcode at the bottom of each page that changes as the customer enters information. This technology is very useful for the ability to quickly and accurately intake applications at the USCIS Lockbox facilities where the applications are mailed. According to the information given for lockbox, it is a secure facility used by government agencies and private organizations to facilitate the collection and deposit of fees. The Department of Treasury designated a financial agent to perform Lockbox services for USCIS. The Lockbox service provider does not approve or deny petitions or applications received. When completing these forms using a computer, the barcode at the bottom of the page will store the data entered on the form. It will be able to scan the information from the barcode and upload it directly to USCIS systems, allowing us to improve data quality and operational efficiency.
The I-90 is to renew or replace a green card. If a green card which is the card showing that you are a U.S. lawful permanent resident is about to expire or it is has been lost it, or if it has been stolen or destroyed, the person will need to apply for a new one. Not only is this card a convenient way to prove your identity as well as eligibility to work in the U.S. and return to the U.S. after foreign travel, but the law requires to carry a green card with at all times.
In my opinion this technology is very important for our records in the United States because it stores all our information in just scanning a paperwork we had filled out.
