From the above table it was found that on four occasion bank loan were taken for starting their business. And from the above data after analysis we can conclude that majority of the entrepreneur began their business from their own investment.

The above table shows the type of business venture taken by the respective entrepreneur. We can see that most of the business venture chosen was Retail shop followed by trading and manufacturing job.

This table shows the reason for choosing their specific business venture. From the data we can see that everyone has their own personal reason for choosing their business line.

The table shows the source of inspiration for entrepreneur to take up business ventures. From analysis we can see that unemployment is the highest followed by to support family and so on as given in the above table.

From analyzing the above given table we can say that most of the entrepreneur are in the age group of 40 – 50 yrs followed by age group of 20 – 30 yrs and 30 – 40 yrs.

Form the above data we can say that most of the entrepreneur have education qualification below 10 standard followed by 10 +2 and graduate.

The above pie chart represents the place of origin of the entrepreneur. Assam top the chart with 50% followed by Bihar with 26% , Meghalaya 8% , Uttar Pradesh 6%, both Rajasthan and Tripura with 4% and lastly Kolkata with the lowest 2%. From analysis we can say that 92% of Entrepreneur is from outside the state.

From the above data we can say that majority of the entrepreneur go married before they began their business also majority of them had children after they start their business. And with one case of divorced. And seven individuals still yet to get married.

As we can see from the above table that individual with a monthly income of 100 – 10,000 has the highest number followed by income level of 10,000 – 20,000 and the rest is shown above. From the above data we can say that majority of individual income lies between 100 – 20,000. With only one case earning 90,000 – 1, 00,000.

From the above data we can conclude that majority of the enterprise are group enterprise comprising of 92% and individual enterprise comprising only 8%.

CONCLUSION
The analysis of socio – economic survey consists of shop of various kinds ranging from small pan shop to medium whole sale shop. In total we conducted a survey of fifty shops in the area of 9th mile CRPF first gate to the second gate.
Through the field work we have gained lots of knowledge and learned many things from our errors or mistakes. It has taught us how to be systematic, how to start communication with an unknown person, and gained many skills throughout the field work. This report has been completed with the help of our sociology department and guidance of our supervisors and H.O.D. All the analysis mentioned in this report has been covered up by shop to shop visits done by our sociology department.

Impression about the work: 1) S.O.S VILLAGE * Had great experienced gain lots of knowledge about the organization their function goals. How children live among different children and under foster parents and home. 2) NIPCCD KHANAPARA * Gained immense knowledge about the organization their functions, aims and what they do and contribute to the society at large. 3) ASSAM STATE MUSEUM * Got to see all the different culture ,tradition about the tribes living in North East states, different art and handicrafts work and lots of other historical significance. 4) 9th MILE, INTERNSHIP RESEARCH * Gain experienced about how to collect data information from strangers. How one should collect data systematically and their socio-economic background etc. 5) OLD AGE HOME IN GUWAHATI * Collection of primary data still pending.

PROBLEMS FACED: * Transportation problem * Language barrier * Lack of time and money.

COLLECTION OF DATA FOR INTERNSHIP * I would visit the old age home in Guwahati and would interview those individual staying there with the help of a questionnaire i.e. for primary data * For secondary data I will collect through internet sources.
