The Red Umbrella, Christina Diaz Gonzalez and “A Band-Aid For 800 Children,”by Eli Sastow both showed Family separation throughout the passages and how it affected the families. They had similarities but showed different techniques in each passages, which was how they felt towards the Family separation. They both felt sorious and anxious to family separation and what it does to people. There was many ways that the two passages have similarities. The ways that the two passage were similar because because in both passages they had vary amounts of figurative language throughout both of the passage. They had vary amount such as imagery in the part in band-aid for 800 it used”the file cabinets in her small office are now stuffed with birth certificates …”And in The Red Umbrella it also used imagery when Lucy left but saw “As I left the room,I saw Mama’s shoulders shake and tears stream down her cheeks.” Which …show more content…
Another similarity is that the tone in both text are a serious tone in The Red Umbrella the tone was serious. When Papa was telling the Lucy and Frankie the they would have to move to America Frankie and Lucy both had a serious tone in there voice and both, also they felt anger because Papa and Mama was not going with them. And In Band-aid for 800 children the tone was serious through the whole story because kids parent had been deported and she has to do many things for 800 children. Value Chain Handbook

...discussions around many of the issues covered in this Handbook and also to Stephanie Barrientos, Jayne Smith and Justin Barnes. An Important Health Warning or A Guide for Using this Handbook Lest anyone feel overwhelmed by the depth of detail in this Handbook, especially with respect to the sections on methodology, we would like to emphasise at the outset: this Handbook is not meant to be used or read as a comprehensive step by step process that has to be followed in order to undertake a value chain analysis. We know of no value chain analysis that has comprehensively covered all the aspects dealt with in the following pages, and certainly not in the methodologically sequential Handbook set out below. Indeed to try and do so in this form would be methodologically overwhelming, and would certainly bore any reader of such an analysis to tears. Our intention in producing a Handbook on researching value chains is to try and comprehensively cover as many aspects of value chain analysis as possible so as to allow researchers to dip in and utilise what is relevant and where it is appropriate. It is not an attempt to restrict researchers within a methodological strait-jacket, but rather to free them to use whatever tools are deemed suitable from the variety presented below. The text below attempts to cover the broad terrain of researching value chains, and hence spans the contextually relevant, the conceptually abstract, the methodologically particular, and the policy relevant. Part 3...

...Enabling the next wave of telecom growth in India Industry inputs for National Telecom Policy 2011 2 Enabling the next wave of telecom growth in India Foreword The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and Ernst & Young have collaborated on this deep review of the telecoms sector in India. The National Telecom Policy 1999 (NTP 1999) has served the sector in India for well over a decade, in which time we have witnessed significant changes in the socioeconomic environment, technological advancements and business dynamics. The telecom industry in India is ready to take the next leap forward with new developments such as launch of third generation (3G) services by private operators, 3G and broadband wireless access (BWA) auctions, launch of mobile number portability (MNP), and the emergence of mobile commerce (m-commerce). In the future, rural and semi-rural markets are expected to drive growth, especially in the wireless segment. The Ministry of Communications & Information Technology has released the 100-day agenda for the Indian telecom sector, and announced formulation of a new and comprehensive National Telecom Policy 2011 (NTP’11). Therefore, the time is ripe for a comprehensive review to build a forward looking and transparent policy that will be the backbone to achieve the ”India telecom vision 2020.” This report focuses on specific areas where the Government of India (GoI) needs to intervene and move the policy to the next generation...
