The Red Umbrella, Christina Diaz Gonzalez and “A Band-Aid For 800 Children,”by Eli Sastow both showed Family separation throughout the passages and how it affected the families. Another similarity is that the tone in both text are a serious tone in The Red Umbrella the tone was serious. When Papa was telling the Lucy and Frankie the they would have to move to America Frankie and Lucy both had a serious tone in there voice and both, also they felt anger because Papa and Mama was not going with them.
