Medical Assistants are an integral part of the medical field. Medical Assistants are trained in many aspects of patient care. They are able to be in the clinic environment being hands on with patient care and/or they are able to be in the clerical environment insuring that all billing, insurance, and appointments are dealt with in an orderly and professional manner. It is for these reasons, and more, that I decided to begin my career as a Medical Assistant. Clinical Medical Assistants are very hands on.
