To pursue a career in Medical Sonography you must at least earn an associate's degree or a postsecondary certificate, which can be taken at both a college or university. You could also go as far as achieving a bachelor’s degree which would be two more years than what you would do with an associate’s or postsecondary. When getting the bachelor’s you would be studying more in depth about sonograph. Training for this field typically takes from 4-6 weeks. Many if not all employers will be looking for a professional certification in order to hire you.
