The main character Cassia is a rebel and has a dynamic mindset. Cassia the 17-year-old girl is falling in love with someone other than her match. A match is a person that is specifically chosen for you to be your companion by the group of people called the Society”. The reason I choose the quote “Do not go gentle” (pg 38) is because Cassia is given an artifact (a poem) that was not chosen by the Society for her eyes to see. “Do not go gentle” is what Cassia found in a poem that her companion (Ky) say to each other every time they struggle.
