"A Clear definition of your business' vison is critical to your success"

As --------- pointed out int the discussuon board in Unit 2 Money (DB) "purchasing a franchise is a very good strategy if you are able to secure the capital for investment." As the business plan and strategies are already in place. Now the question is why would the franchise business owner be selling his shop? In this case Dr. Heywood mentioned a Carvel Icecream Shop in her area that closed due to continued construction that made it unpleasent for the customers to visit the Carvel Shop.
As a result the business was unable to previal and had to close up shop and offer the franchise for sale. The secret may be found in finding the right balance of the four competencies, and this could be the difference between success and failure for a business that finds its self trying to endure continued construction in their area - and at a time of recession. I found an interesting article from the Central Penn Business Journal, titled "A Clear definition of your business' vison is critical to your success" from March 20th 2009.
In the article the author Richard Randall goes to offer four key factors that will help the new busines owner find the right balance to help ensure success whether it's a franchise or a new business. These four strategies were discussed at lenght in a presentation by Ram Charan, one of the leading consultants to Fortune 100 CEOs and co-author of the best-selling book “Execution.” Richard Randall was so impressed with the presentaion that he chose to wrote about what he learned at the seminar in his article from the Central Penn Business Journal mentioned above.
