Project:
- A distribution company for pharmaceuticals & paramedicals allover Egypt.
- Our target customers are pharmacies, hospitals & laboratories.
- Company departments include: HR, finance, sales, supply chain management & customer service.
Application of 10 points of change on project:
1- We make & take decisions:
- Concerning decision making within the company, our system will be making a deep analysis (“what if” analysis) based on all the alternatives we have, to see & study the consequences based on each alternative.
- For example, deciding which customer segment we are going to target, what products are we going distribute or if we are planning to add a new line of distribution.
2- We manage information:
- There will be a system for collection & transformation of information throughout the company, taking into consideration that there are some private information that can’t be shared, such as employees’ files.
3- We need IT tools:
- Our IT department will provide us with an IT system that will help us have a database of all our employees, customers as well as sales.
- This system will help in organizing work of HR, sales & finance departments.
4- Flat organization:
- We will have a flat organizational structure in which managers of each department will be reporting directly to CEO. This will help in saving time for solving any problems that may arise during normal workflow & taking the necessary decisions regarding them.
