A Hero In Louis Chevrolet's Auto Racing Career

What makes a hero is someone that try to help their community or their country and they all have brave, trust, and honestest. Bravery is something that a hero has when he or she helps their people. Trust is something that a hero has when people trust him with their problem. Honestest is something that a hero has that will tell the truth or will be honest about their work. Louis Chevrolet was one of the greatest American heroes of his or any time because of the life he leads to, his accomplishments in his auto racing career, and the legacy he left behind for history. Louis Chevrolet had started a bicycle company before he went on to start the production of his own design of the automobile that he will create. Chevrolet first job was at a dealership in Montreal, Canada in 1899 at a young age of twenty- one year old (“Louis Chevrolet”). Chevrolet worked as a chauffeur-mechanic for at least six months and later in life he moved to Brooklyn, New York (“Louis Chevrolet”). Chevrolet said himself bicycle manufacturing business was not very successful, and Chevrolet became an apprentice at the Darracq, Hotchkiss, and Dion Bouton automobile factories (Louis Joseph …show more content…
