...Judoka Tuvshinbayar Naidan If you are a judo fan, you sure know the name of Tuvshinbayar Naidan, because he is the most triumphant judoka Mongolia has ever seen. Even when once his sport's career will be over, his fame as the first Mongolian who won the Olympic championship will live for many years to come. Tuvshinbayar was victorious at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China. He became the first Mongolian ever to win a gold medal at the Olympic Games. On 14th August 2008 he was inducted as a State Honoured Athlete of Mongolia as well as a Hero of Labor. At 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London he missed closely the gold medal due to an injury in the semi-final round. Despite his severe injury he continued to fight and got the silver medal. Thus, he became the first ever Olympic multimedalist from Mongolia. Tuvshinbayar certainly looks like a super star. He is tall, well-built and handsome with friendly brown eyes. He always manages to look well dressed, whether he is wearing casual closes, which he prefers, or a smart suit for important occasions. His personality, too, is as outstanding as his wrestling ability. He grew up in the countryside in a nomadic herder's family. He is the youngest of seven siblings. From his childhood on he has learnt to work hard as all children in the countryside do. He used to take care of family's horses, sheep and cattle in bitter frost in winter and on broiling days in summer, in cold rain in autumn and during the dust storms of spring....

...A person who I admire A person who I admire is an interesting topic. I believe you can admire more than one person. A typical admiration I have seen is when people boy, are admiring a very famous singer, actor etc. although it is typical, it is still a good admiration because you can use that person as your role model or idol. Fx. If your role model is a sportsman, then you can admire his performing skills, and maybe learn something from him or her. But trough my life I have admired many persons, friends, older people, teachers, etc. All these people have given me experiences and personal abilities which I have acquired with help from them. My opinion is that I cannot admire one person specially. When I admire someone I respect the person’s character. After my experience I also admire someone when I am in his presence. A person who can change a bad day to a good day, fx my mother. My mother is defiantly one of my top 3 list over admired persons. Just imagine without your mother you would not exist. Everyone should admire how housemothers are struggling to raise there children’s. I am indeed of her proud of my mother, it is because of her that I am that what I am today. When I always have been in a bad mood my mother opened up my minds to look at things in a different perspective. Fx when I has had a problem she shared her experiences with me and learned me to tackle every situation. Another important person who I likes to admire is my father. A father and a mother is an admirable...

...Jessica Guzman November 7, 2013 I admire her the most……… For me admiring someone is the act of looking at someone with approval, respect, and even love. As we grow older, we find someone we look up to and admire. The person I admire the most is neither world famous nor a multimillionaire. I save my admiration for a special woman, my mother. Who as I grew older has taught me many things in life, those in which have helped me in many situations till this day. My mother has showed me more than I could see in the world. She’s the reason why I keep going despite all the challenges. Because of her I am who I am today. I can certainly sit here and write you a whole book about the many qualities I admire about her. Above all my mother holds the qualities necessary for her to be someone I admire. Her strength has taught me how to overcome the obstacles I face day by day. Her motivation has inspired me to complete tasks I thought I couldn’t accomplish. Lastly I admire the way my mother cares selflessly for others and the ability to make someone smile despite any personal difficulties. An important quality I admire about my mother is her strength. I grew up with a single mother that was both a mother and a father to me. I never really focused on not having a dad around; it wasn’t as important as having our mom, who was always there for us. No matter how hard it was for her at times she always found strength. Strength, to be able to help her daughters whenever they needed something...

...THE PERSON I ADMIRE MOST Talk about the person that I admire so much, a lot of names run through my mind. My mother, sister and some good friends. I even wanted to write about Shim Changmin, the man that made my eyes pop out and he is my love at first sight among the Korean boy bands. But then , I decided to write about a person whom I admire so much and who has influenced me a lot . she is my best friend from my hometown, Kerteh , Terengganu. Her name is Khairunnisa and everyone calls her NIsa. She is as pretty as her name but she does not seem to realise this or she chooses to ignore it. She has a face that every girl would die for. She has silky soft , white creamy skin. Her sparkling hazel eyes are complemented by dark sooty lashes . Her hair is straight , waist length and lustrous like the models in the Rejoice shampoo advertisement. She is a simple girl but yet other girls are envious of her. Though she is petite, small and slender she is strong willed and matured. It is not her physical appearance that made me admire her. Her personality attracts people like magnets. She is friendly, talks politely to everyone, has a good sense of humour, caring and a good Muslimah. Another good thing about her , she has no time for puppy love. Although she has many good looking suitors flirting with her, my elder brother included, she paid no attention to all of them. Sometimes I wish she had introduced some of the guys to me. However , being a good Muslimah, she stays away...

...The person I admire Movie stars and singers, who make a lot of money and are famous, are admired by teenagers. However, they don’t even know the person or their personality. To me admiration is a kind of respect. But there aren’t a lot of people in this world who demand this sort of respect from me. My mother is the only person who has entered my life and made me look at things differently. The first reason why I admire my mother is because she teaches me about experience. Experience is what you learn as you go through your life. As a child, you always learn that people are really nice and generous. That is not true. As you step into the real world, you will see the a person’s real face and all difference schemes, plan to make them success.[I don't understand what you are trying to say here] This happened to me when I was in sixth grade. When my class had a test and my friend did not know the answer , she asked me what the answer was and I told her what the answer was but when I had a problem and I asked her, she never answered me. Instead she said she didn't know or she that she hadn't got there yet. I was really upset and unhappy but as I have from my mother, I understand why my friend did that and I let it go more easily. She took care of her children first before she took care of herself is the second reason why I admire my mother. Taking care of a person is not easy, and taking care of yourself at the same time is even harder. My mother always takes care of me...

...There are many people coming in and out of my life. Whether this person be a friend, boyfriend, or even people in my classes. However through the constant changes of the people in my life there has always been a steady constant. A person who has always been there whether it be from the moment I was born or as I'm sitting on my couch writing this very paragraph. Someone who in fact has not only given advice, but helped with situations far beyond my years. The person I admire is my father, and even though we are thousands of miles away from each other, he has always been right by my side helping me think through every decision. He is inspiring and teaches me a lot of what the world can give to me if I know how to look for it. My father who was named Bret about fifty-two years ago is about six feet tall and has a graying mustache. He has dark brown hair, short of course, much like mine. My father is a baker and always came home smelling like donuts or cookie dough. His eyes are almost as blue as the sky itself and his smile will make anyone laugh with joy and love. Bret, my father, did not graduate college. But in all reality, this day in age that does not even matter anymore. He has gone so far in life and I believe this is because of all the hardship he has gone through in his life and even though the rough patches has brought him down in life from time to time, he always had a smile on and said that he will try again and again. He taught me that life will get rough and when you...

...A person I admire A person I really admire is a friend of mine whom I have known for what seems forever. He has several astonishing qualities, which makes him qualified for this assignment. The main reason is that he inspires me to be a better person on a daily basis by setting a brilliant example. What I especially admire him for is his compassionate and loving nature, his ability to stay positive in hectic and frustrating situations. Some people might be annoyed by the fact that he is very gorgeous and handsome as well as insanely clever; but the significant thing is he isn’t arrogant or self-centered. Therefore it’s impossible to hate him and turn into a raging beast of jealousy, because I believe he has no idea how outstanding and marvelous he is. Girls who don’t know him are drawn to him because of his looks, but when you first get to know him you will explore a person who is warm, embracing and the complete opposite of superficial. He has an incredible personality and a laugh that you can hear miles away. His smile and laugh is so contagious that it’s impossible to be in a bad mood when he is around. He brightens my day with his cherry face, which reminds me of the sun; warm, big and shiny. He always tells me to look at the bottle half full, and explains that there is no point of thinking negative. If I am about to make a stupid, selfish or bad decision I think of what he would have done and I remember the importance of thinking everything...

...In the film Juno, directed by Jason Reitman, a character than I admired is Vanessa Loring. Vanessa is a successful career woman in her early 30s who is desperate to be a mother. She is a perfectionist who initially comes across as uptight and controlling but later we learn that she is just nervous about the baby adoption falling through and is struggling to keep her marriage together. Vanessa shows a genuine love for children and a great devotion to being a mother. However her husband, Mark Loring, is struggling to grow up and is not ready to become a father. Film techniques used in the film to make us admire Vanessa are camera work, costume and dialogue. These techniques show us that she is the only mature and realistic adult in her marriage, her realisation that she does not need the “perfect family” to be happy and her natural mothering skills and genuine love of children. Dialogue is a verbal feature used in Juno to make us admire Vanessa. Initially we see Vanessa as cold and controlling, but as the film goes on we begin to realise that she is the only grown-up in her marriage and is having to deal with a husband who refuses to grow up. Vanessa shows great patience when she says, “Hate to interrupt the jam session.” This is how Vanessa responds to Mark after catching him and Juno playing with his guitars when they are supposed to be discussing the adoption. The adoption is a huge deal and Vanessa manages to turn a blind eye to Mark’s insensitivity, showing she is mature...

...hero is someone who you look up to, admire, and hope to someday be like. A hero is someone who helps you when you need it, and makes you smile on your bad days. One of the people in my life that I look up to, and admire is one of my friends, Seth Bilkes. One of the reasons Seth is my Michigan Hero is because he sets a great example for me. Seth is genial to lots of people. He tries to be as friendly as possible, and includes everyone. Yes he has his close friends, but he also has fellow classmates he will include if they have no one to hang out or work with. When he sees someone who might need help, he jumps right in to make them feel welcome. This shows me that when someone needs someone they can talk to, or needs someone to work with, I need to welcome them, whether I want to or not. I need to be a friendly person, and include anyone who is feeling left out....

...I choose the novel Step by Wicked Step written by Anne Fine. The memorable event from the novel is the honest conversation between Pixie and her stepmother Lucy. I think that the conversation is important because it affects Pixie's life. First of all, I think that the conversation is important because Pixie has a chance to tell the truth about her feelings. Pixie tells Lucy that she hates to pretend that their family is normal. It is hard for her to accept strangers as family. She dislikes her stepsisters. When Hetty moves into Pixie's bedroom after quarreling with Sophie, Pixie is very angry. She tries many ways to get rid of Hetty. Apart from that, I think that the conversation between Lucy and Pixie is important because Lucy also gets a chance to express her feelings towards Pixie. Lucy hates being a step mother. It is very hard for her to take care of someone else's child. Lucy is angry when Pixie when Pixie tries to get rid of Hetty from her bedroom. ...People Whom You Admire I believe that human will only keep on moving when there is a motivator for them. For me, what motivates me to be a kind and helpful person are the two people whom I admire. One of them is Ms. Kelly, my English teacher when I was in Standard Six, and the other one is Madam Tan, the aunty who lives next to my house. Ms. Kelly is a very kind person. She always teaches us to give hand to those people who are in needs and she also never tired in helping people. For example, one of my friend’s family situation wasn’t so good and therefore Ms. Kelly buy him breakfast almost every morning. She hopes that my friend will not feel hungry during the school time and it can help him to be more concentrate in his studies. Madam Tan is also a very softhearted lady. Although she was not very high-educated, she always demonstrates me and also her kids to help other people. During weekends, she will visit to the orphanage and help the workers to teach the children and also playing with them. Madam Tan also always invites me and my family to be a volunteer and join her to do social works. Although Ms. Kelly and Madam Tan both influence me to be a kind person, there are still some differences between two of them. Firstly, Ms. Kelly is a gentle and quite person while Madam Tan is an active person. Ms. Kelly is not talkative; she usually spends her time by reading or gardening near her house during evening. In contrast, Madam Tan is an outgoing person but she was a...

...Who is the one helps me grow up, gives me advice, takes care of me, shows me the right way, always support me greatly, gives me a birthdate and does many many things just for me, it's my mother. I love her and really admire her for many reasons. Perhaps, the thing makes me admire her the most that she was the first teacher of mine. She has been teaching me everything since I was young until now, and for the future. I remember that the first foreign language I studied from her is Russian. I could speak some simple words in Russian when i was just 5 years old such as "hello", "good bye". At that time, i made a poem about the ant and my mom, of course, was the first person listening to me. Now, she is still a best friend, I think, she is the greatest psychologist that i have known. Sometimes, Sometimes when I was down because of failures in my life, I always went to meet her for asking some advice. As my expect, I always felt better after that. I also admire her for her personality which is a mix of honesty and strong faith in god, cause and effect. " Take us by ourselves into others' position before doing anything" she said. And she is also a predictor. She can get the future in her dreams. She ever told me that she had found out my father before seeing him . Besides, she was sure that I would be a boy before getting pregnant. Oh my god! it's strange. I can not do the same thing. There is a woman who takes an important part in my life and chang my thought and action. I really...

...A Tribute to the Person I Admire Most The person that I admire the most is my future wife. Not only is she the most beautiful woman I know, she is also a go-getter with an insatiable appetite for success in every aspect of her life. She is a modern day woman who deals with the everyday struggles of life. She works multiple jobs, she is a mom, she attends school, and on top of all of that, she is my future wife. My future wife, like so many of us, does her daily routine. She goes to her office to do her daily grind. She manages her accounts by dealing with people of all character make-ups. Some days are good, and some days are not so good, but she navigates her days with the professionalism that is expected of her. After a tough day at work, she then begins her next job that never requires a time clock because it’s never ending; she is a mom. She leaves one office, and heads to her next office – home. She then tends to her children inquiring of their day, rendering motherly advice when necessary, and being the disciplinarian when necessary. And trust me, she can be quite a handful when rubbed the wrong way! On top of all this, when she is not working and being a mom, she is in college working towards her Master’s in Business. She had toiled for years achieving her Associates and Bachelor’s degree. I find it amazing that with all of this going on, she even has a spare moment for me. Yet, she still finds time to set aside just for me. Though things may not...

...A Person I Admire I can’t really say that I have an idol. I do have people that I look up to and admire, but I do not have that one person that I idolize or would actually like to be. I think that I prefer to look at more specific characteristics and qualities in a person, rather than a person as a whole. I like to find that kind of qualities in someone else and not copy them, but learn from them. I have had a hard time figuring out who to choose as my idol in this assignment until I thought of a person who had a big influence on me during my childhood. I’ve learned a lot from his works and the wisdom I was given, still has an impact on me today. This person is Walt Elias Disney. I find his work very educational for children all around the world and even to some adults. Walt Disney was born in 1901 and unfortunately passed away in 1966 due to lung cancer. His company, Walt Disney Company, produced cartoon movies, comic strips and other productions of entertainment. Disney started out with the cartoon mouse called Mickey who was the main character in his first shorter movies, which also contained some other famous fictional characters such as Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto and the list continues almost endlessly. The first traditional animated movie that he made was “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” in 1937. Even though Walt Disney has passed away, the company still produces movies in his name and the latest movie released was “Big Hero 6” in 2014. As a child I was a huge fan...
