Reading has helped me in exploring through various articles by getting vital information and ideas, which helped me, engage in critical thinking, as well as knowing about the author, and where was it published. Discussion helped me to decide whether I agree or disagree with the situation and make my own ideas. It is an excellent way of exploring both sided of the argument.
