A Review of Fezzo’s Restaurant Fezzo’s restaurant is owned and operated by Mr. Pat Bordes in Crowley, Louisiana. The restaurant is open on Monday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m.- 9:00 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00 a.m.- 10:00 p.m., and Sunday from 11:00 a.m.- 2:00p.m. Known for its wonderful oysters and steaks, Fezzo’s is always a favorite for many. The location attracts many tourists also. It is right by the I-10 West exit. Many people come from around the country to try Cajun cuisine, and Fezzo’s fixes that desire for many. Fezzo’s has wonderful food and service, but some of the prices are too expensive. One main reason people go is because of the wonderful food. Fezzo’s serves a variety of food. One of the things it is known for is of course their steaks. This steak is not like anyone one has have ever had before. It is very tender and juicy. The meat is so tender that one does not even need a knife to cut the steak. One could also order the wonderful crab cakes. These crab cakes are stuffed with real crab meat and sautéed onions and bell peppers. These delicious crab cakes will have your mouth melting for more. Fezzo’s also has a variety of salads such as, the chef salad, the grilled or fried shrimp salad, and the grilled or fried seafood salad which one can add the fresh crabmeat on top of the salad if you would like. One can also try their famous, homemade bread pudding. This mouth-drooling desert is loved by many people who come to the restaurant. This might just make you melt with how hot and this desert is. The delicious food is not always what people keep coming back for. A lot of people come for the wonderful service. The waiters and waitresses always have a smile on their face. They always seem to enjoy their jobs. The wait staff is very happy and cheerful. If one has a problem with their food, the wait staff will make sure that the problem is fixed. They always help you if you need help. They know the menu and know the prices of what is on the menu. In some restaurants, the wait staff does not know the prices. Most people do not mind giving a good tip at Fezzo’s because the staff is so good. The food comes out in a reasonable amount of time and is seldom sent back. There are a bunch of good features, but Fezzo’s does have some bad features. One of the bad features is the prices of some of the items on the menu. One of the most overpriced item is the grilled seafood salad. A normal seafood salad one would think would be around eight to twelve dollars. The price of a grilled seafood salad at Fezzo’s is $18.99. A grilled chicken breast with one side and a small salad is $15.99. The price of the food may discourage some people not to eat there. Many people around the world are always looking to try Cajun cuisine. Crowley, Louisiana is very lucky to have a wonderful Cajun restaurant. The wonderful food and service always have people wanting more, but the price of the food is very discouraging. If one is ever in the Crowley area then stop by and try this wonderful Cajun Cuisine.

...Eagle Point Resort Review Bill Sigler DeVry University ENG – 112 Eagle Point Resort Review The Philippines is known for its diverse vacation spots for all seasons. Beach resorts and natural wonders of unique landscapes made the country a popular tourist attraction in Asia. One particular vacation spot called Eagle Point Resort is not as famous as the others are, but can also offer a lot of great things as well. Located in Anilao Batangas, the resort was strategically situated besides a beach rich with coral reefs and marine life. This seaside haven can offer a variety of services that can easily satisfy and meet the expectations of tourists or local visitors alike. It is the perfect get away location to unwind from the stressful environment of a city life and that is what you would expect from a beach resort. The Eagle Point Resort is a good place to spend your vacation because of its good hotel services, fun underwater activities, and the attraction of a diverse marine ecosystem. Hotel service is a very important thing to consider when you stay at a resort. After all, who would want to reside in a place where people treat you rudely and are lazy with their job? On my first day at Eagle Point, the one thing that immediately caught my attention was how friendly the hotel employees are. Some people might find it weird or feel awkward when others act a little too friendly with them, but it did not bother me one bit. I actually enjoyed it, and their attitude stayed consistently...

As described in ACHR (2008), Respect means, "all the participants in the health care system are to be treated with respect and not to be discriminated against anyway. The patient or consumers have a right to receive a care in a manner that is respectful of their culture, beliefs, values and characteristics like age and gender." ACHR (2008) defines...

...Food Served in Schools – There Needs To Be a Change 15 English 215 Research and Writing February 8, 2013 Children and adolescents have increasingly gained weight over the years, with one reason being that children are spending less time engaged in physical activities. Where children used to go outside to play and were physically active, today they can be found in front of television sets for long hours, watching TV or playing video games, neither of which require much physical interaction. Children have also become accustomed to eating fast food and vending machine junk food as opposed to healthy choices in meals. Healthcare providers, teachers and parents can play an important role in helping to reduce obesity in children. Some suggestions to help with this growing problem includes making changes to the food that is served in school cafeterias, and encouraging children to become more physically active. (Green & Reese; 2006) Nearly 1 in 3 children in America are overweight or obese. According to www.childrensdefense.org, “child obesity among school-aged children and adolescents has tripled and is affecting children at an increasingly younger age.” In the spring of 2010, the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine studied the nutritional value of school lunches and found that many lunchrooms were still serving foods high in calories, saturated fats, sugars and refined grains. Media Review Essay

...Music Piracy Will Continue To Live Kyle Olmos Vanguard University Of Southern California ENGL 220C: Researched Writing Professor Amy Hoffman March 25, 2015 The music economy is saying it is declining and it is entering into a place it has never seen before. It is webbing out the fact that it could be in one big massive pit of failure. The cause of this entire down fall is said to be fully on music piracy. Personally, and with many media sources, the music industry is just turning into one big bully, trying to find any possible way to engulf everyone’s lunch money that they deserve. Nevertheless, There is actually a few benefits within this frowned upon cyber stealing that artist, producers, and marketing teams have admitted are actually helping them succeed within the new generation of the music industry. Therefore, a lot of media will be laid out to identify why the industry is spreading the rumors on such a downfall when the industry is doing better than ever before. Many artists, that everyone will most likely know worldwide, have spoken up on why piracy is not bad but rather helpful in sales and who are also collecting a fan base faster then ever before. Furthermore, the focus will continue on the benefits of music piracy and the ways it is already working; such focus will conclude on why an independent artist and A-list artist should actually go all in on this little issue and just accept where music piracy is heading...

Review Essay on Romeo and Juliet

...Review essay on Romeo and Juliet On 27 April 2012, I watched Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespeare. It was directed by Ivan Heng from W!LD RICE. It brought laughter and tears to me, from the witty scenes to the tragic parts. This version was an exciting, refreshing, contemporary twist of the classic love story. The set, costumes, music, sound and casting gave this play a whole new spin to it. I felt the casting was perfect. The main characters, Romeo, played by Hansel Tan and Juliet, played by Julie Wee, really brought out the deep emotions of their characters. Their chemistry was amazing and it wasn’t hard to imagine them as star-crossed teenage lovers. Romeo’s character was strong, with Hansel pulling of his intense feelings brilliantly, such as the part in Act 3, Scene 3 that starts with “Tis torture, and not mercy” when he talks about being banished. Juliet’s transformation from a wide-eyed girl into a self-assured, loyal, and capable woman was well portrayed throughout the play. One memorable character was Nurse, played by Neo Swee Lin. Though I felt she that at some points her Singaporean accent would emerge, it somehow worked to make the character funnier and she injected much humour into the piece with her frequently inappropriate remarks and speeches. Act two, Scene three, where she meets Romeo was especially funny when she kept going for Romeo’s chest. It was hilarious! Every scene kept the audience engaged, from the beautiful, intimate scene where Romeo lies...

City Workshop Review Essay

...The F.A.T (Frustration, Anxiety, Tension) City Workshop was a class titled “How Difficult Can This Be?” given by Richard D. Lavoie to a diverse group of individuals. The goal of the workshop was to let the attenders experience the frustration, anxiety, and tension faced by children with learning disabilities. Mr. Lavoie was able to, through a series of scenarios, give viewers an inside look into what it is like to have a learning disability. The workshop was held in a classroom with teachers, social workers, parents and siblings of children with a learning disability, psychologists, bank executives, rehabilitation counselors, and children with learning disabilities. The scenarios used by Mr. Lavoie gave us an inside glimpse of what it is like to be a learning disabled student. He began by creating some anxiety in the room. He was speaking very quickly and moving from one person to another without much hesitation. He would call on a “student” and have them answer a question. One specific person got an answer wrong and Mr. Lavoie quickly came back with a sarcastic comment. He went on to explain that “Anytime you use sarcasm with kids, understand that you have created a victim.” (Lavoie & Rosen, 1989). We, as teachers and parents must be cognizant when using this sort of comment while speaking to our children. Mr. Lavoie also spoke about how a child with a learning disability thinks that if they cannot see us, we cannot see them. The human reaction to anxiety is to look away yet...

Music Concert Review Essay

...On Wednesday, December 2nd I attended to a very impressive concert presents by my great music professor Sergio Gonzalez and Hialeah Performing Arts Club. Dr. Sergio Gonzalez invited magnificent singers from his MUL 1010 class to make this concert unforgettable with his accompaniment in the piano. The first thing that I liked about this concert was the atmosphere because I saw how the audience enjoyed the music played by my talent professor and the amazing voices of the vocalists. Every artist was welcomed with a warm applause from every single person. Professor Sergio Gonzalez, and also a phenomenal pianist introduced every singer who accompanied him on the stage with words of admiration. This concert was about “Holiday Selections” where famous songs from different cultural background were sung by powerful vocalists. The soloist Ashley Calderon impressed me so much because she has such a potent as well as soft voice. She interpreted “Think of me’’ a hard vocal piece of Andrew Lloyd Webber. This song requires high notes and she hit them great. Ashley sang this song beautifully creating a lovely as well as dramatic sound and feel. The maestro Sergio playing the piano moved in perfect harmony with the imposing voice of Ashley. The following song was “A la Antigua” composed by the cuban pianist Ernesto Lecuona. Professor Sergio demonstrated brilliant skills with this song because he played this solo piano masterfully. I could notice that he is an excellent professional....

Paper Man Review Essay

...In life you don’t always get what or who you want. Sometimes it takes hundreds of paper airplanes to come alive to direct you in the right direction. In Paperman, a beautifully animated short film, a guy and a girl experience meant to be love due to fateful and magical events. Although no sound or color, this short film perfectly captures the beauty of love and fate. Paperman is a rated G short film directed by John Kahrs and produced by Walt Disney. It was released in 2012, and won an oscar for best short film of 2012. Although no sound, the music in the background composed by Christophe Beck perfectly sets the mood, so you have a feel of their emotions. Paperman is about a guy who tries to get a girls attention after seeing her for the first time. This short film tells a story of a guy who is hopeful, unpredictable, and somewhat romantic, and a girl who is pretty, shy, and punctual, who first meet at a train station, and pretty much experience ‘love at first sight’. Sadly, they end up on different paths until later that day. While upset over the girl, the guy was at work and happened to see the girl of his dreams once again on the opposite skyscraper. Building a bunch of paper airplanes to get her attention, he ended up failing. Until, the paper airplanes magically swept him off his feet and led him to his love. What makes this short film so great is the way it can capture a moment without words. Throughout the whole movie the characters don’t actually speak, but...

Damien Hirst Review Essay

...Damien Hirst: Genius Artist or Genius Con? It is for certain that Damien Hirst certainly knows how to grab our attention and many people find it hard to accept him as an ‘artist’ due to the facts that; He shamelessly spends his money extravagantly. For the Love of God is one of Hirst’s most scandalous pieces; where he has purchased the 18th Century skull of a 35 year old European man to which he explains was in response to his mother’s common saying of “For the love of God, what are you going to do next!”, further justification of his piece was to represent the embracement of death that was demonstrated by Mexican culture- most predominantly shown by the Aztecs. Hirst states ‘you don’t like [death], so you disguise it or you decorate it to make it look something bearable- to such an extent that it becomes something else.’, this statement certainly voices out our reactions towards his piece, we focus more towards the fact that the skull has been encrusted with diamonds more than the concept it is trying to serve. But are his intentions really just to achieve the idea of accepting death? Isn’t he just showing off his excessive use of spending? Was it really necessary for him to do such a thing? What does this say about his character? Death is viewed differently by different people. How does Damien Hirst view it or how he feels about it? Taken from an interview (http://www.damienhirst.com/texts/20071/feb--huo), Damien Hirst expresses his hate for death and views it as though...
