This made the NCAA look at him due to his grades to low to get a division 1 scholarship. While they were investigating him the Tuohy gain legal guardianship of him. This was a problem because they were boosters for Ole Miss. His high school coach also got a job at Ole Miss as a assistant Coach. It is found out that his tutor Mrs. Sue was also a booster for Ole Miss and took the job hoping Michael would go to Ole Miss.
This lead to a full investigation by the NCAA, as Michael got his grades high enough for him to go to college. He chose Ole Miss over better offers that were given to him. Michael was able to convince the NCAA that he chose Ole Miss for his own reasons and was not forced to. The line in the movie and book that he told investigator Thompson was “that’s where my family goes”.
After graduation he went to Ole Miss for collage and got on deans list, he played All American team and won multiple college football awards. Leader a process of social influence in which a person can enlist the aid and support of others in the accomplishment of a common task.

Legacy anything handed down from the past, as from an ancestor or predecessor; an applicant to or student at a school that was attended by his or her parent.

Michael Oher is a leader to those around him as he pushes himself to do his best. Rising from being a homeless, desolate impoverished youth tossed from foster home to foster home. Never getting the chance to be properly educated in school, caused extraordinary hardships on him as he was pushed through from place to place. He has left a legacy behind him of beating the odds, Even though he was taken in by a well off family. It was his own fortitude and personal courage that if you push yourself and work hard you can achieve goals. His support for charities and programs for inner city youth has opened doors for individuals to succeed.

A Star Is Born

...A Star is Born Stars are quite possibly the oldest, molecule possessing organism in the vast universe that harbors all infinite existence. The oldest star discovered is an estimated 13.2 billion years old (Stetson). How stars have come to exist was once as unknown as what they are comprised of. To find out how this cosmic, infinite universe came into existence, astronomers must first bring everything down to a more basic, molecular, atomic level. A star’s life is started as a collapsing cloud of hydrogen; helium and some other elements are pulled inwards by its own gravity, forming a core. Through nuclear fusion, most of the hydrogen is converted into helium and this is what keeps the star constantly burning for billions and billions of years. A star’s internal pressure is what keeps it from collapsing under its own massive gravity. However, if a star becomes too massive, and the internal pressure can no longer support itself, the star will collapse, receding into a black hole. Until recently, astronomers had observed that there were young stars in the universe, but had never quite exactly understood how they entered into our realm of existence, until now. The Herschel space telescope was launched on May 14, 2009 and is the largest, post powerful infrared telescope in space, to our knowledge. In 2010, Herschel made two unrelated discoveries that were equally as astounding to astronomers. The first challenged our previous beliefs about star birth and the second provided a backbone...

Stars Life Cycle

...Life cycle of a star by Taris Bonner Stars begin as nebulae. Nebulae are clouds of gas and dust that have went through gravitational collapse, under their own gravity, then begin to stick or clump together to become thicker and more dense. Stars then begin to form in the center of the collapsing material. Which then allows its ultraviolet rays to glow or shine making them visible to the eye in color. Nebulae can have a variety of size. They can even be hundreds of light years in diameter, though they are less dense than the space surrounding them. An average star is formed when a cloud of dust or nebulae begins to collapse on itself, then a star is born. An average is a star with average mass or intermediate mass. It can be yellow, orange,...

Super Nova Poem

...an elaborate explanation of the birth of a star stretched out into an array of words. The "Red Giant"a dying star in it's last stages of evolution, Is the star that will soon be replaced towards the end of the poem concluding a new star. The title Super Nova meaning a star is born contributes to the readers understanding because it is the "symbol" Object or action that means more than it's literally meaning, of the poem and the whole meaning of it really. The author Udiah I don't think is speaking directly, I think the poem is in third person and he makes it seem as if the planets are telling the story themselves or some foreign force. The situation in the poem is the amount of force in outer space that it takes for an old star to die and new one to come about. Although the poem is very vast and interesting there are some references that need explaining such as how the birth of a star happens exactly, I don't think an average reader would understand necessarily the science behind it. Some of the words I looked up helped me find better meaning in the poem, Nuclear Fission a nuclear reaction of a radioactive decay process in which the nucleus of a particle splits into smaller parts. This particular word is used at the beginning of the poem, means to me that the red giant has exhausted it's supply of hydrogen and can no longer hold it all in anymore, there forth letting go. The poem develops on an Idea, an idea of a new born star. I think that Udiah must have some interest...

Formation begins when particles in the cloud start to bond with each other due to gravitational pull, as the mass of the particles begin to increase it starts gaining more gravitational pull. The stars in the Nebula produce light in the cloud which makes it visible to us. Red Supergiant The “Red Supergiant” are the largest known stars. They are made in a cloud of dust and gas then that ignites the hydrogen fusion in the core and they are said to live in “one main sequence”. However, we should be able to tell that the hydrogen fusion in the core has stopped by observing the solar neutrinos. The neutrinos do not interact with the solar plasma, and can escape the Sun and reach Earth in about 8 minutes. So, we would find that the neutrino flux is decreased. 2.
