Personal Loan 24-hour- Service Guarantee Terms and Conditions
Eligibility: 1. All Personal Loan applications including Pre-Approved loan applications are eligible for Personal Loan Service guarantee. 2. At the time of submission, the Personal Loan applications should be complete with all the required supporting documents.

Start Point of Service Guarantee: Receipt of complete documents by the bank as evidenced by SMS sent from the bank to the customer. End Point of Service Guarantee: Final decision regarding customer’s Personal Loan application is communicated by the bank to customer via SMS.

Personal Loan 24 – hour – Service Guarantee (“24-hr- service-guarantee”) is subject to the following Terms and Conditions: I. Personal Loan 24- hour- Service Guarantee

1. The “24-hr-service-guarantee” shall only apply in the cases where the applicants have provided the complete set of Personal Loan documents along with complete filled in forms in accordance with the Bank procedures. 2. Applications in which bank is unable to contact customer/referee on mobile/home/office phone or have document deficiency would not be considered for “24-hr-service-guarantee”

3. Applications which have been declined by the bank or cancelled by customer earlier, and are reappealed later, would not be considered for “24-hr-service-guarantee” 4. The “24-hr-service-guarantee” will not be applicable in instances where delays are encountered due to the applicant’s failure to satisfy the Bank’s due diligence process and/ or fulfill any legal/ regulatory requirements during the process of Personal Loan application processing. 5. Service Guarantee fee would be paid only for disbursed Personal Loan applications in Standard Chartered bank account of applicant 6. To the extent permitted by law, Standard Chartered has sole discretion to change the terms and conditions without prior notice

7. Following the Personal Loan application with Applicant’s signature given and application form completely and accurately filled out and where the Bank has fully received supporting documents and/or information for Personal Loan approval as required, the Bank shall, via SMS, notify Applicant whether the Guarantee is granted and the grant is subject to the Bank’s sole discretion. Such notification shall not, by any means, obligate the Bank to grant the Personal Loan approval which shall be proceeded under the terms and conditions set forth by the Bank. 8. After being notified via SMS of the Guarantee grant, if no circumstances stated in Term 9 occur and the Personal Loan application is approved, the Bank shall notify Customer of the approval via SMS within 24 Hours from the time the Guarantee grant SMS message has been sent by the Bank (“Guarantee Period”). If this is not possible, the Bank shall be responsible to compensate Customer as specified in Term 10. In case of any disapproval of the Personal Loan application, whether the Bank’s notification is made within or after the Guarantee Period, the Guarantee on such Applicant shall be deemed cancelled and terminated and Applicant shall not be entitled to any monetary compensation or benefits attached to the Guarantee. 9. Notwithstanding the terms and conditions specified herein, where the Bank deems it necessary to undertake further verification by contacting Applicant and/or reference person and/or other concerned personnel in accordance with the Bank’s rules but is unable to do so, or in case of any doubt raised over fraud on the Personal Loan application or under any circumstances prescribed by the Bank within the Guarantee Period, the Bank reserves its right to cancel the Guarantee under these terms and conditions and/or disapprove the Personal Loan application and the Bank shall so notify Applicant via SMS or by other means as stipulated by the Bank. The Bank shall exercise its best effort to give notification prior to the end of Guarantee Period but if it is not possible to do so, the Bank shall give notification soonest after the said period. 10. Subject to these Guarantee terms and conditions, if the Bank fails, prior to or within the Guarantee Period, to send SMS message notifying Customer of the Personal Loan approval, the Bank shall pay VND 200,000 (VND Two hundred thousand only) compensation to Customer within 7 business days from the day of disbursal by crediting the amount into the customer’s Standard Chartered Bank account used for disbursement or by any other means as prescribed by the Bank. Customer is not entitled to get the said compensation by any other means. If, prior to or on the date such compensation is paid to Customer, such account is closed Customer agrees that such compensation entitlement shall be cancelled and Customer shall not be entitled to such compensation from the Bank. II. General Provisions

1. For the purpose hereof, “Business Day” means normal working days of commercial banks in Vietnam excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and bank holidays as announced by the State Bank of Vietnam; 2. Applicant and/or Customer agree and consent that the Bank communicates with them via SMS message to their mobile phone number given in the Personal Loan application form. Upon the Bank’s dispatch of SMS message, it shall be deemed that Applicant/Customer has received such message from the time sent notwithstanding the possibility of Applicant’s/Customer’s not receiving or delay in receiving the message caused by the device being off-switched or delay caused by telephone network system provider or by off-signal area or by whatsoever reason. 3. Where the Personal Loan application has been approved and the SMS approval message has been sent to Customer within the Guarantee Period, Customer agrees and accepts that the Bank

has complied with the Guarantee conditions. Where the contact telephone number or any information provided by Customer in the Personal Loan application form turns inaccurate or by whatsoever reason thus disabling the dispatch of SMS approval message, the Guarantee shall be deemed cancelled and terminated forthwith and Customer shall not be entitled to any compensation or benefits attached to the Guarantee. 4. None of the Applicant’s and/or Customer’s rights and/or benefits attached to the Guarantee is transferable. 5. The Bank shall not be held responsible where any bank procedure under these terms and conditions cannot be processed or in case of delay in processing due to force majeure or malfunction of communication or money transfer system or by whatsoever reason which is not the Bank’s fault. 6. The Bank has the right to amend, alter, or add into any provisions under these terms and conditions or suspend such Guarantee at any time without prior notice to Applicant/Customer.
