In the letter dated November 27th 1775 from Abigail Adams to John Adams, Abigail Adams was concerned about a few things. One of the first concerns was the people governing themselves. She was concerned with how men valued power and Man can become dangerous given too much power. She does not think that the Right of People will be considered. Adams also questioned every aspect as to what would happen if they separated from Britain. She fears that the people’s responses will not be pleasant and will affect the actions. She says, “I fear the people will not quietly submit to those restraints which are necessary for the peace, and security, of the community; if we seperate from Brittain,” (632).
