Abstract
Every year many species shrink in size until none are left unless something is done to protect them. The Abronia Campbelli is critically endangered due to the underground world of the illegal pet trade. The aim of this paper is to provide an overview of the endangered Abronia Campbelli lizard and the Abronia family in general. The causes of Abrionia Compbelli's population decline is explained. It is discovered that the illegal pet trade and habitat destruction are the major causes of the species' population decline. We also discuss what is being done to conserve the species.

The international pet trade is presumed to be a major cause of the decline of population along with habitat destruction (Ariano-Sánchez, D., Johnson, J. & Acevedo 2013). These two factors create for a deadly combination and are the leading reasons why this species is critically endangered.
