Critical thinking, an important process on everyday life.
Definition of Critical thinking Critical thinking is a process that us as humans use on everyday life, sometimes without knowing that we are using it. We can be doing critical thinking for the simplest actions in everyday life like: Should I buy the most recent iPhone that came out? Should I take this train and would I make the destination faster and on time? On the other, hand we also use critical thinking to make the most important decisions in our lives like: Buying a house, changing carriers, finishing school, marriage, etc.

Steps in the critical thinking process There are six steps to critical thinking: 1. Knowledge- we all should be able to have the basic level of knowledge of what the topic or the conversation is about. 2. Comprehension-Understanding the material or the issue that we are faced with. Having new information, we can use it to discuss better or defend our point of view. 3. Application- we can apply what we know into a particular situation 4. Analysis- is the process of breaking down the information we know into parts, in order to know how the idea can be connected. 5. Synthesis- is the process that we can put together the information that we just heard or saw, combined with what we know so we can create something original. 6. Evaluation-Is the step when we understand and evaluate on what was presented to use and then we can decide to use it or not. Emotions can influence decision-making. Emotions play a big role on decision-making in everyday life. In my lifetime there have been a lot of instances where I left me emotions get the best of me, which in the end affected my ability of a good decision-making. Critical thinking, lead by emotions sometimes can be dangerous and prevent people from thinking well
