There are millions of farmers scattered across Bangladesh have this sort of gruesome and untold experience in their life leading them to take different such unproductive occupation as pulling rickshaw, thus dragging our agro based economy to down and making us more dependent on imported food. Ironically, most of us do not know that silent cry is going in the families of those hapless farmers. Most farmers spend their day in suspicion thinking whether they can sell their products at fair price as well as sell those all, even if they have bumper production in their field. Hardly do they get fair price and sell those altogether, ironically. What a great humiliation for farmers, who work all day long under scorching sun devoting his happiness and meet the daily vegetable and grain needs of urban people. Likewise, fisherman and meat producer encounter this type of fate in their life. Most of the farmers, fisherman and meat producer of our country are the victim of typical interest business “Dadan”, which exploit them instead of benefiting...

...Abstract Businesses today face heightened expectations around their role in society and the world, with turning a profit only one of many criteria by which performance is measured. Rising in importance is the impact a company has on its stakeholders, society, and even the planet. Integrated reporting, which encompasses elements of traditional financial reporting, sustainability reporting, and governance reporting within a single presentation, represents a growing trend that reflects these new expectations. The core concept underlying the term “integrated reporting” is providing one report that fully integrates a company’s financial and non-financial (including environmental, social, governance and intangibles) information. Integrated reporting offers the opportunity to centre business reporting on strategy and value creation, to demonstrate how the business uses capital and the extent to which they should continue to be invested in business. Integrated reporting is a journey. Organizations are unlikely to achieve perfection in the first year. In the absence of a generally accepted framework, companies that wish to move toward integrated reporting may encounter several dilemmas around relevance, scope, assurance and other issues. However, as reporting processes for the production of the supporting information are designed and improved and as the executive team begins to benefit from a more informed implementation of the governing structures’ decision, reporting will improve...

...Literature review The essence of financial management is the creation of shareholder value. According to Ehrhard and Bringham (2003), the value of a business based on the going concern expectation is the present value of all the expected future cash flows to be generated by the assets, discounted at the company’s weighted average cost of capital (WACC). From this it can be seen that the WACC has a direct impact on the value of a business. (Johannes and Dhanraj, 2007). The choice between debt and equity aims to find the right capital structure that will maximize stockholder wealth. Debt policy and equity ownership structure “matter” and the way in which they matter differs between firms with many and firms with few positive net present value project (McConnel and Servaes, 1995). Leland and Pyle (1977) propose that managers will take debt equity ratio as a signal, by the fact that high leverage implies higher bankruptcy risk (and costs) for low quality firms. Since managers always have information advantage over the outsiders, the debt structure may be considered as a signal to the market. Ross’s (1977) model suggests that the values of firms will rise with leverage, since increasing the market’s perception of value. Under some conditions capital structure does not affect the value of the firm. Splitting a fund into some mix of shares relating to debt, dividend and capital directly adds value to the company (Gemmille, 2001).Firms has increased their level of debt relative to...
