Hello sirs, my name is Percy A. Grisby II, I am forwarding this correspondence to give you options pertaining to your database management system or DBMS. One of these options is to install an Entity Relationship Model or E-R model DBMS, the reason I am suggesting an E-R model is there are a number of advantages to installing and managing this type of DBMS in your company. I will provide you with information on the advantages of them in this proposal.
In this fast paced and competitive business world you want to make the instruments your company uses simple and easy to use. This will allow for your employees to be more efficient and productive in their daily workday schedule. All of us are keenly aware that productivity is one of the many keys to a successful business.
One of the advantages is that the structure of an E-R model DBMS is the ease of use in that system. This allows the users of it to communicate with each other on a basis that isn’t as technical as some others, this will allow for fewer mistakes during the data entry and throughout the workforce and workday. The structure of this type of DBMS model allows software programmers and data entry employees to be able to communicate and interact with each other more easily and effectively should problems arise. This allows for a greater and more efficient workflow because the different employee groups will understand each other and be able to solve different issues that may arise within the DBMS.
Another advantage of having an E-R model DBMS is the components of this model. This will allow your different employee groups to distinguish the differences between these different components in the model. Some of the components are entities that represent a person, place event or an object in the real world that is

...The Advantages of a relational Model According to ACME Global’s website the mission of ACME Global is to “Help clients achieve profitable growth by aligning and improving customer facing processes and by continually seeking ways to improve operational performance"(“ACME Global,”2014) Because of your consultants over 100 clients maintain successful business with financially and operationally sound strategies. To continue this success and expand on that success a relational model would be easy to use. The revision of any information as tables consisting of rows and columns is much easier to understand. This would play a vital role in organization of not just your consultants but when you stop and look at your clients and the data you are responsible to managing along with the common data and information you want to know. An E-R Model provides Flexibility: Different tables from which information has to be linked and extracted can be easily manipulated by operators such as project and join to give information in the form in which it is desired. This would be most beneficial to you when you look at your areas of Strategic Development and Business planning, marketing & Sales Strategy and your Operations and Organization Management. In all of these are areas are key data and resources of ACME Global that would be enhanced by using a relational model. Purpose of an E-R Model Specific to ACME Global Consulting ACME Global along with your partner Deegit, Inc. deliver innovative...

...1. List the advantages of a relational model specific to ACME Global Consulting. Relational models can provide some very significant advantages over other methods. First, they are very easy to read due to the nature of two-dimensional tables. Columns and row format is straightforward and consists of a collection of similar data among rows that allow for the user to easily locate what they need. One of the biggest advantages of the relational model of database design is that its foundation is formal mathematical theory. It allows its concepts to be defined and examined with great precision. In other systems, the calculations may need to be done separately prior to using the database. 2. Summarize in your own words the purpose of an E-R model specific to ACME Global Consulting. The E-R model can provide ACME Global with a specific, but open-ended design that is tailored to the company’s needs. This also allows us to sketch the design of a database informally and incorporate changes in order to avoid problems later on. The E-R model allows for growth beyond its ideas at inception. It lays the groundwork for later database relational designs. 3. List and describe essential components of the model such as entities, attributes, keys, relationships, roles, and dependencies specific to ACME Global Consulting. ...ACME Global Consulting Brenda Lucas Entity relationship modeling is extremely valuable in a complex data environment. In relational database management system, entity relationship modeling becomes essential when dealing with a large number of entities and/or complex relationships. In addition, some entities that have many different relationships, or even multiple relationships with a single entity, can be difficult to conceptualize without the assistance of a well-thought-out model. As pointed out by Allen (2005), entity relationship modeling provides a highly intuitive reference for developers of a database system. ACME Global Consulting is an organization that services a vast number of clients across many domains. They deal with thousands of orders and products on a daily basis. From their customer service department to their order fulfillment department, the need for an efficient, accurate information system is self-evident. However, when dealing with so much information in such a complex system, the importance of proper planning and design cannot be overstated. There is no area of the system development lifecycle more critical than planning and design. The purpose of the entity relationship model to be developed for ACME Global Consulting is to visualize the entities and relationships that will exist within the relational database. As is discussed by Chilton (2006), it can be difficult to wrap one’s mind around the concept of relational databases at first. It...

Benefits of a Database and Information-Gathering Techniques

...Running head: BENEFITS OF A DATABASE AND INFORMATION-GATHERING Benefits of a Database and Information-Gathering Techniques Benefits of a Database and Information-Gathering Techniques Hello Mr. ACME Global Consulting interviewing person, I'm Alucard Lazarus, it's a pleasure to meet you. I can offer over a hundred years of experience in consulting, managing employees, customer logistics, and excellent database management system or DBMS knowledge. All of which should make me the ultimate candidate for your organization. Let me explain to you how I can improve upon the current schema for the company’s new restaurant using DBMS. First of all let me explain what I know is DBMS; it’s software that allows data to be manipulated, stored, and retrieved from the data stored which can be accessed by multiple users. The application programs used for those operations are Microsoft Access, SQL Server, and Oracle. The advantages of a DBMS are maintaining what terms are used to search by therefore making searches quick and easy, keeps control of data redundancy (it’s a process from 1NF to 2NF to 3NF), information security feature with keeping those that require certain access to data, has the automatic functions necessary to save and recall data for back up recovery, it makes sure that data can be accessed through any application that the company will use, there are different interfaces for users to get to the data that they need to get to, and it uses whatever rules that the company...

Global Financial Management

...Global Financial Management FIN630 AIU Abstract This paper will discuss the long-term investment projects Acme is considering doing in China. Acme is a US firm that plans to focus on investing in and penetrating markets in China. It will discuss the potential profits as well as the policies that are currently in effect in China. It will give the information on the factors that would be used to consider doing business in China such as import/export restrictions, labor relations, supplier financing, tax rules, etc.   Global Financial Management Introduction A long-term investment, which includes stocks, bonds, real estate, and cash, is an account on a company’s asset side of the balance sheet that represents an investment the company intends to hold on to for more than a year (Definition, 2013). The US firm, Acme, wants to focus on investing in markets in China. There are many factors to consider when doing business in any foreign country, China is no different. The first bit of information to look at is the back ground of China. China, whose capital and focal point is Beijing, with over 4,000 years of verifiable history, is believed to have the oldest continuous civilization. The official language of China, which is derived from a Mandarin dialect, is Chinese. China is a Communist country that promotes atheism and a constitution that guarantees freedom of religion (China Introduction, 2013). Portfolio Project

...the context of the following subject: Portfolio Project Risk & Stock Market M2 EUROPEAN AND INTERNATIONAL PRIVATE BANKING Submitted by: Instructor: KAKAVAND Samaneh EGRET Paul DOU Yan Academic Year 2012/2013 Introduction: Global Economic & stock market Performance: Mixed signals January 2013 is a great month for stock market. Since January, the stock market goes up, so maybe this stock market bulls will keep running in the whole year, especially, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is increasing dramatically, from 12520 in July 2012 to 14275 today. Source: Google Finance One potential reason for the optimism is a positive sense of global economy in the future; the euro zone is not going to break up, because in September 2012, European Central Bank promised unlimited bond-buying to keep the euro together; China has avoided a hard landing, America avoided falling off the fiscal cliff. Additionally, Federal Reserve agreed to keep interest rates down to help encourage investment and decrease the unemployment rate. Based on the above economic performances, we can argue that the share prices will go up, because the global economy is recovering from recession. Since the bonds yields will keep running low in 2013, investment in equity market is a more reasonable choice. However, market risk and uncertain can never be ignored. The biggest reason for caution is the gap between stock-market optimism and economic...

Benefits of Relational Models

...Benefits of Relational Models to ACME Global Consulting Geoff Roberts Professor Rahat Zafar Intro to Relational Database Management Systems 1/16/13 Businesses thrive on information. To succeed, you must have the most current knowledge to stay competitive in a rapidly changing industry, such as Information Technology. The trick is, not only knowing where to find the information, but how and where to secure it. Databases are the keystones to any business looking for organization and quality management. They will allow your company to track expenses, market trends, employees, equipment, and most importantly, clients. The question? How do I deploy an efficient database? In order to implement a database, it should be planned out to ensure it meets all requirements of the organization. Consider your own company’s needs for a moment. Organizational charts, certifications, client accounts, investments. How are these examples mapped so that the information is readily accessible in an efficient way? The answer, employ Relational Models from which a functional database that meets all level requirements can derive from. This is a major step in becoming a prepared, well organized, and respected consulting firm. A Relational model or entity-relationship diagram (ERD) is a data modeling technique that creates a graphical representation of the entities, and the relationships between entities, within an information system (http://searchcrm.techtarget.com).
