Depression is a state of the mind being caught up on a scenario or a situation and thinking over it continuously for more than the usual time. This could be days and weeks pass by thinking about one subject.
There are four articles to support the relevant facts on the assignment ahead; discussions on some research that has been done. These have been obtained via Google scholar. Moreover, up ahead of this is the aim of the assignment, a literature review based on the four articles researched relevant to depression, and a conclusion, not leaving references.

Aim: The aim of this assignment is to: * Choose a topic from the happiness website, * Find four articles relevant to the topic chosen, * And writing a literature review using the four articles.

Literature Review
Depression is an existence of a down feel mood in a person that interferes with a person’s normal function; it could also lead to emotional problems. All four of the articles were researched on how depression shows its impact on university students.
The first article is about the relationship between depression, treatment and the academic performances on the undergraduate students. In this 121 students were examined with depression. As form of treatment some students were prescribed drugs, some counseling, and others none. Later it was found that some faced family problems, some relationship problems and so on. However all these significantly caused a decrease in academic performance. (Alketa Hysenbegasi,1 Steven L. Hass,2 Clayton R. Rowland, 2005). Therefore, people must be advised on the right method of preventative method.
The second article is aimed on studying major depressive events among the students of Spanish university. The common symptom that was deprived from the article was depressive mood. Also, it was found that more of women were the victim of depression compared to men. After the research it was discovered that some proportion of students had considered suicide while a bit of them sadly had found a solution as suicide.(Fernando L. Vázquez PhDa & Vanessa Blanco MSa, 2008). This is a serious issue and some recommendation must be made on counseling services.
The third article was also a data of research done on depressive measure symptoms. A total of 17,348 university students were assessed from several countries. It was found that the counties that had higher standard of living and income had increased cases of depression. (andrew steptoe, jane ardle, akira tsuda, yoshiyuki anada, 2007)
The fourth article is based on the impact of illness and flu on academic productivity. Various people volunteered. These cold and flu disease was an effective factor to student’s academic performance.

Conclusion
Depression is a serious matter for students especially because it can further lead to problems in family, relationships, and can even cause suicide. Furthermore, there should be some programmers that could prevent depression on students. Also, cold and flu affects the health of millions of students and therefore, preventative measures must be taken to prevent such diseases.

Advantages & Disadvantages of Social Media

...Paragraph 1.4 Foreign Studies Research in June 2012 at the University of Georgia found that the millions of people who log onto social networking sites every day may very well be boosting their self-esteem in the process – feeling connected to others and being in control of how you’re seen by others may have a positive effect on how you see yourself. On the downside, though, a study in June 2013 from the University of Michigan found that it was the students with narcissistic tendencies who posted most often, using social media in different ways to boost their egos and control other people’s perceptions of them – something that could have a dangerous impact on young girls at the very time when they have tremendous developmental changes taking place. Another study, from Flinders University in Australia, found that the amount of time teenage girls spend online was associated with low self-esteem and dissatisfaction with their body image (although cause and effect cannot be determined). In interviewing more than 1,000 high-school girls, they found that social media intensified conversations about appearance. And as these conversations involved their peers, they were also more influential in the girls’ lives. Even though 80% of the girls in the survey were of normal weight, almost half of them (46%) reported being dissatisfied with...
