An Affinity Diagram is a tool that gathers large amounts of language data (ideas, opinions, issues) and organizes them into groupings based on their natural relationships (Viewgraph 1). The Affinity process is often used to group ideas generated by Brainstorming. Why should teams use the Affinity process? The Affinity process is a good way to get people to work on a creative level to address difficult issues. It may be used in situations that are unknown or unexplored by a team, or in circumstances that seem confusing or disorganized, such as when people with diverse experiences form a new team, or when members have incomplete knowledge of the area of analysis. When should we use the Affinity process? The Affinity process is formalized in an Affinity Diagram and is useful when you want to (Viewgraph 2) Sift through large volumes of data. For example, a process owner who is identifying customers and their needs might compile a very large list of unsorted data. These kids are handpicked judged by the qualities of responsibility, good listening skills, comfortable speaking in front of peers, and cooperation with students and adults. These are the qualities of a good leader and deserve to be treated in an honor program to help build on these leadership skills. This has been a great program not only for the kids but the teachers as well. It gives the students the extra edge they need to make it in the real world and it also gives the teachers a sense of purpose in these kids’ lives. In the program, the teachers go over simple tools such as a run chart, affinity diagram, and fishbone diagram. They relate these simple tools to everyday situations at home such as organizing a birthday party. It not only prepares them for later on in their lives but also helps them exercise these skills in the present. However, I need it would be my first time for the four tests in Area 5. Moreover, I need to identify what type of die (quad or dual) was being processed. On the other hand, ma’am Loi urgently needs the data about the length of time it takes to finish the Vacuum Dry Pack Operation in Packing Area EOL Area 5. It was already 9:30 but I was still organizing the data for the utilization report. The utilization project was the hardest I had handled so far, because I need to continously observe the time of both the operator and the machine. Ma’am Gem came and asked me if I had sent it to her.
