Tech Mahindra, a global systems integrator and business transformation consulting organisation focused on the communications industry, will reinforce its focus across its Middle East and African operations.
The company is looking to expand its reach by tapping into newer markets and industry verticals combined with the forging of new strategic partnerships with key businesses in the two regions, a statement said.
In line with this move, Tech Mahindra has recently appointed Girish Bhat as the new vice president of sales and operations for the Middle East and African (MEA) region.
After maintaining a strong presence across the MEA region, Tech Mahindra is now eyeing key focus markets like the UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia for the last quarter of 2011.
The growing preference for applications outsourcing, system integration and managed services are now being seen as significant drivers in Tech Mahindra’s increased revenues for Q2 FY 2011 to 2012, the statement from the company said.
In addition, the increasing popularity of business process outsourcing (BPO) and security solutions has become the new focus points for growth across the MEA region. Tech Mahindra has announced that it will be rolling out a wider range of services for the MEA region’s telco providers, adding new offerings like value added services (VAS), business process outsourcing (BPO), e-security, infrastructure management and network services.
“As the whole MEA region moves towards recovering from the impacts left by the recent economic downturn, local telco providers have demonstrated a key shift in their IT spending practices, revealing a concentration on acquiring turnkey outsourcing of applications across the business support services (BSS) / operations support services (OSS) segments,” said Girish Bhat, vice president MEA sales and operations, Tech Mahindra. – TradeArabia News Service

Toward this objective, the systems integrator and business transformation consulting organization has said it will reinforce its leadership and focus across operations in the region.
