A great example of this is when I worked for a transportation company in Connecticut. One day our manager called a meeting after work now, off the bat this was a bad idea because all we could think about was going home and that was mistake one. The second mistake was informing us that the company decided to change the way our transportation department drivers did their routes. They decided to tell us the route we must take and that we could not vary from the route. They had a supposed efficiency expert do all the routes to make it more efficient. Now as drivers, we are all insulted because that means that we were not doing our jobs correctly. The third and final mistake was not having answers to our questions and the fact that we were not consulted. The only answer was the company thinks this will make us more productive.
