In 1933 a group came to rule , they were called the Nazis. They believed Germans were superior to all other racial groups (“Introduction To Holocaust”). If this sounds terrible that is because it is. In this time thousands to even billions were killed or permanently tramad. In the midst of this there were thousands of kids being killed. Some of whom had no idea what was going on. One of these children was Alfred Munzer. He was born just before the Holocaust.He had no idea at the time that he would survive a great tragedy. In the process losing most of his friends and family. These events ,however, have made him one of the best role models for hope. He is living a ,well deserving, happy life.

His sisters were Eva and Leah Munzer. They later died at the ages of 6 and 8.His father’s name was Simehia and worked as a tailor. His mother was Gisele Munzer,and was a stay at home mom. His mom is the only family member besides Alfred who survived the Holocaust (United States Holocaust). Alfred’s circumcision ceremony was the last thing the entire family celebrated together ("Indonesian Lullaby”). Also Alfred was not supposed to be born.
