Many times other IT consulting firms recommend solutions that are not appropriate for the specific client's business or will not take a business' operations into their planning as they routinely bring down an entire business while they perform routine maintenance on a server. That is unacceptable, interrupting productivity because it is "a better time for us" is the wrong answer. Alpha Omega Technical Industries around your business. SECTION II Installing Data Storage Network solutions
a. NAS Servers
The first step in this process is identifying the type of NAS storage that will be used. The type of NAS severs that will be used will be the TeraStation 7120r 96 TB/TS-2RZH96T12D X 6.

b. Install instructions TeraStation 7120r
Step 1: The NAS device to a wired network jack on the
Local Area Network side of the router.

Step 2: Attach the power supply of the NAS device and power it up.

Step 3: Press the "Power" button of the NAS device.

Step 4: Go to any powered-up network-connected Windows pc computer. Step 5: Start a Web browser such as Internet Explorer or FireFox.

Step 6: If the Web browser does not reach the Internet, it is still okay for configuring a a connection to the NAS device.

Step 7: Click on the "Login" button, if there is one

Step 8: Type in the password Step 9: Click on the "Submit" or "Log in" button.

Step 10: A list of DHCP clients will be displayed

Step 11: Write down the IP address and host name of the "NAS" device.

Step 12: Click on "Log out" or "Log off". Step 14: Close the Web browser window.

Step 15: Click on "Places" in the menu bar. Step 16: Click on "Connect to Server

Step 17: A "Connect to Server" box will be displayed

Step 18: Use the drop down list button of the "Service Type" to select a a "Windows share".

SECTION III
a. Network diagram

Install and Configure Virtual Center as a Virtual Machine
One of the concerns when setting up these TeraStation 7120r NAS servers was fault recovery, backup and redundancy. This solution can be solved by installing VM ware and creating a manager that will take a snapshot every 12 hours.
“VMware Server will run on any standard x86 hardware, including Intel and AMD hardware virtualization assisted systems. The host operating system can be Windows or Linux. The most important thing you should know about installing VMware server is that it will use significant amounts of your RAM.”
In some cases the Virtual Center server will be installed as a Virtual Machine in the
COC environments. In these cases the virtualization scripts must be run from the network Administration client.

a. Subsection 2.1 Hardware: 2 x RAID 5 on 2U DRS Servers, 1 x1U DRS server Before installation the hardware needs to be set up be sure to make sure the following is in place.
1. Verify that the computer hard drive is inserted into the computer and secured into place.
2. Plug the Alternating Current power adapter into the computer.
3. Plug the AC power cord into the AC adapter.
4. Plug the AC power cord into a standard, 120 volt three-pronged, electrical receptacle

b. Subsection 2.2 ESXi install
1. x1U DRS server
2. install

After insuring you have met the basic hardware requirements you must next install ESXi on your 1U DRS. Make sure to turn on the system being recovered.
The system should be set to boot the CD-ROM, this can be checked in the system bios by pressing F2 when prompted and going into the boot options. The CD then boots and the information will scroll across the screen until a menu displays, press Enter to install ESXi.
Once your backbone ESXi has been installed configuration of vCenter can begin

a. File sharing Being able to share data and coordinate with other departments becomes very important when a business is working on the massive scale like Alpha Omega Technical Industries and moving at the speed of business is very important, loss if data and time is a loss of money. The solution that would be used for secure file sharing would be Citrix ShareFile. Citrix Share file is a robust and easy way for enterprise level organization such as Alpha Omega Technical Industries to be able to share large files with one person or a groups that are way longer. Citrix share file allows for the end user to send as much as 10 GB file sizes at once. “With ShareFile, you can be confident that your data is secure. SSAE 16 audited datacenters and AES 256-bit encryption ensure the privacy of confidential files during transfer and in storage.”
