Critically endangered is one of the worst words to use when describing a species and its status, apex predator is no longer the first thing that comes to mind when one hear the name Amur Leopard. Fear is no longer the first emotion that hits, instead the first words thought of are critically endangered, dangerously low, fragmented habitat and poaching, all terrible words and ideas to be associated with.
