Send "Run To You" Ringtone to your Cell
English Translation/Romanized:
With you Everything seems so easy
With you My heartbeat has found its rhythm
With you I’m so close to finding my home
With you I dont care if I’m a little bit crazy
Cause with you nothing’s wrong
I was broken I was wasted
Then you came like an angel in the rain
Love used to slip trough me like waters slips trough hands
But with you it changed I know I feel I’m closer to your heart
I am run run running to you And I’ll keep you safe forever
Through the tears trough the love and all the nights we share
I am run run running to you And I’ll keep you safe forever
Don’t you know my love don’t you know two hearts can beat as one
Love used to slip trough me like water slips trough hands but no more
No more lonely nights no more no more
So c’mon c’mon hold on hold on hold on
I am run run running to you And I’ll keep you safe forever
Through the tears trough the love and all the nights we share
I am run run running to you And I’ll keep you safe forever
Don’t you know my love don’t you know two hearts can
I am run run running to you And I’ll keep you safe forever
Through the tears trough the love and all the nights we share
I am run run running to you And I’ll keep you safe forever
Don’t you know two hearts can beat as one

An Inconvenient Truth

...An Inconvenient Truth succeeds in making an emotional, and more importantly, a moral case for reducing global warming. I am on Al Gore's side when it comes to the importance of raising awareness about global warming and on the fact that we should act forcefully to change the destructive influence humanity is having on the Earth's environment. The documentary is directed by Davis Guggenheim, an American director and producer, and features former United States Vice President Al Gore. Gore is also an author, businessperson, and environmental activist. He has been involved with environmental issues since 1976, when he was a freshman congressman. This documentary is set to educate, warn and raise international public awareness among viewers about global warming. It also states different solutions to fix this problem. Gore succeeds in doing so by presenting a comprehensive slide show containing real scientific statistics. He appeals to every individual by showing before and after images of our natural habitat, discussing a good number of graphs and diagrams. Quotes from Mark Twain, Upton Sinclair, and Winston Churchill underscore Gore's message of taking action, particularly when Gore quotes Churchill who said: "The era of procrastination of half- measures, of soothing and baffling expedients, of delays, is coming to its close. In its place we are entering a period of consequences." A good example Gore gives to induce fear in the viewers is the possibility of the collapse of a major...

An Inconvenient Truth

...An Inconvenient Truth Al Gore’s movie, An Inconvenient Truth, begins with a general description of the process of global warming. Essentially, sunlight enters the earth’s atmosphere (which comparatively is as thick a classroom globe layered with a coat of varnish). The majority of what entered is reflected off of the earth’s surface in the form of UV rays and is projected back into space. A small amount of sunlight is trapped inside of the earth’s atmosphere and helps to heat the earth and keep it at a constant temperature. What is happening is that as we release more and more CO2 into the air, the earth’s atmosphere is thickening, trapping more and more UV rays, causing an increase in the atmospheric temperature. Roger Revelle, an old professor of Gore’s, was the first to suggest measuring the CO2 levels in the atmosphere. What researchers have found is that in a cyclical pattern (patterns of steadily increasing up and down movements), the atmospheric levels are on a constant increase. These patterns are cyclical in nature because in the spring, when the northern hemisphere is facing the sun (the northern hemisphere being where the largest amount of vegetation is located), the plant life absorbs the majority of the CO2 levels, reducing the levels of CO2 in the air. In the fall, when the northern hemisphere is facing away from the sun, the CO2 is released into the air, increasing the CO2 levels in the atmosphere. Evidence of an increasing atmospheric temperature is everywhere;...

An Inconvenient Truth

...The science and technology subject that I chose to explore for this significant and ever-evolving breadth area is former Vice President Al Gore’s 2006 documentary An Inconvenient Truth: A Global Warning. Al Gore has been a long-time speaker and against global warming, and has advocated toward environmental energy efficiency and alternate fuel resources. In the years following his time in the White House, Gore focused significant time traveling throughout the world presenting the adverse effects related to global warming. This led to the creation of his documentary An Inconvenient Truth” A personal evaluation of this film considers the issue of the earth’s rising temperatures, the arguments and implications of global warming, how this topic challenged and broadened my understanding of science, and what significant elements I have taken away from viewing the film. This film is strongly connected to the Science/ Description breadth area because of its exploration of the earth’s construction and how humanity affects our planet, and many of the earth’s natural processes. According to the film, “The greatest venerable part of the Earths ecological system is the Atmosphere” (An Inconvenient Truth). One of the film’s global implications is that humans have the capability to irresponsibly damage the thin and protective layer of the Earth’s atmosphere called the Ozone. Each year, the Ozone is being thickened by pollutants causing more radiation from the sun to be trapped in the Atmosphere...

An Inconvenient Truth

...An Inconvenient Truth Al Gore really has a valid point in what he wants to share with the people. His visual aids and animations shows great insight into what he sees for the future. Our world is in big trouble; as he stresses the changes in the earth over the last thirty years. Gore is a great public speaker and really leaves people with something to think about when his presentation is over. He has been all over the world to share this presentation with others and really get people out there to realize what they are doing and how it is affecting the world around us. I enjoyed the animations that Gore used since it was one way to just talk about it, but to me it really hit home when he had visual aids. Explaining how if Greenland were to melt; how that would affect the rest of the world. I agree with everything that Gore has said and what really helps is the way that he presents his information and himself. It all fits together hand in hand. Gore was the nation’s Vice President for eight years. To me it would be expected, that he act and perform in the best possible way. If Gore was president I think the world would have been better off since he is an environmentalist and he can really influence our country to change our everyday lives so that Earth may live on for years to come. Personally I did not know that we are causing this much harm to our planet. Gore really opened my eyes to the subject because since watching this I have energy saver light bulbs in my home,...

“an Inconvenient Truth”: Reaction Paper

...The film “An Inconvenient Truth” is a documentary film about global warming. Al Gore discusses the scientific opinion on climate change, as well as the present and future effects of global warming. The warming of the earth is caused by the green house gasses preventing the sun’s heat to escape from the earth’s atmosphere. That’s the elementary explanation of Global Warming by the movie. Al Gore describes the consequences he believes global climate change will produce if the amount of human-generated greenhouse gases is not significantly reduced in the very near future. Some is the collapse and melting of the major ice sheets in the world, which Gore showing some illustrations, before-and-after photographs of glaciers, which will soon cause the sea level to rise, and flood some regions near coastal areas (e.g. New York, China, New Zealand. etc.) and this will cause over 100 million refugees. Also, the melt water from Greenland because of its lower salinity, could then halt the currents that keep northern Europe warm and quickly trigger dramatic local cooling there. Some of the consequences also are the, much stronger typhoon and hurricanes, stronger and often earthquakes, more kinds of epidemics, drought, etc. and this will cause a disaster of our earth. The issue regarding the “Inconvenience”, of the film Inconvenient Truth, is the interception of Gore’s journal about global warming. The truth behind global warming by Al Gore and his crew, composed of top scientists, was rejected...

An Inconvenient Truth (2006) – Review

...An Inconvenient Truth (2006) – Review “An Inconvenient Truth”, a 2006 documentary film directed by Davis Guggenheim, attempts to raise the alarming issue of climate crisis due to Global Warming and it foretells the dreadful consequences that the future generations on the Planet Earth are likely to experience. The film features a strong political figure, Al Gore (former Vice President of United States), to unleash the astonishing facts and predictions related to Global Warming, which is undoubtedly one of the biggest societal concerns today. The main purpose of the film is to educate the citizens of the world about the highly severe environmental challenge of global warming by separating the truth from the fiction and the actual connections from the misunderstandings, and to reenergize the environmental movement. It tries to convince people that it is their moral imperative to hear the environmental warnings that are scientifically sound. The film documents a revolutionary slide show by Al Gore that he estimates to have given at least 1000 times across different locations around the world. The documentary contains stark visuals of the recent natural calamities, possible future disasters and the mind-boggling graphs that force the audience to take a deep interest in the issue. It uses small animated clips to explain the phenomenon of global warming, highlight its probable impact on polar ice caps and foresee the likelihood of extinction of the living organisms there. ...Cheryl Smith Phil 1102 An Inconvenient Truth 12/4/09 Pollution today will negatively impact the world tomorrow. Al Gore is making this argument evident in his film “The Inconvenient Truth”. This film gives statistics, experimental data, and other rather hard to grasp facts that prove how planet earth is being destroyed by our industrial societies. Statistics predict that within the next 50 years our planet will undergo several changes that according to experimental evidence has already begun. Scientist experimented to find out how much carbon dioxide was in the atmosphere and made connections between changes in the atmosphere. Naturally the amounts of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere change depending on the time of year. Carbon dioxide goes up in the fall and winter months and down in the summer and spring months. Now due to pollution the amounts of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere are unstable. Global warming is cause by carbon dioxide being trap in the atmosphere by green house gases which in turn increases the temperature. Everyday the amount of carbon dioxide is rising. Experimental polls of the earth say that the amount of carbon dioxide on the earth have never been over 300ppm since the beginning of time however now the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere are over 300ppm. In fact scientist predict that within the next 50 years the earth will project an unrestricted amount of carbon dioxide that will burn fossil fuels. This is a devastating fact. Global warming...

...An Inconvenient Truth The movie documentary “An Inconvenient Truth” directed by Davis Guggenheim is about the Former United States Vice President Al Gore who is campaigning to educate citizens about Global Warming and current climate changes on Earth. It focused on the hardship of one man who struggles to help Earth to fully breathe again. The film mainly discussed what is Global Warming? How it occur? Why is it happening? What are the possible problems that we will encounter? What can be the possible solutions to the said event? Based on the film, Global Warming is the increase in the average temperature of Earth’s atmosphere. This is because of the heat also known as the “Infrared Rays” from the Sun which cannot rise up to the space. This happens because the atmosphere is blocked with Carbon Dioxide CO2 that prevents the heat to come out. Carbon Dioxide from vehicles, factories, and the like produces more and more elements that trap the heat that causes “Greenhouse Effect”. Generally, from the First World countries are likely the mostly affected of this catastrophe. But every human must be aware of. The film illustrates Global Warming well with a short cartoon clip that includes Mr. Sun Rays as the infrared rays from the sun which loves to visit Earth. The Green Goons as the Carbon Dioxide which prevents Mr. Sun Rays to get out of the Earth’s atmosphere. Until other ‘Mr. Sun Rays’ were trapped in the Earth’s atmosphere. Also, the documentary showed that Global Warming...

...Inconvinient Truth COPENHAGEN – Addressing the climate summit here Thursday, President Arroyo stressed the vulnerability of the Philippines to extreme weather events, but curiously stopped short of joining the clamor from other developing countries for increased international funding that will allow poor nations to cope with the negative impact of climate change. Arroyo cited a United Nations study that showed the Philippines as one of the top 12 countries in the world facing the greatest risk from hurricanes and other natural disasters. “In fact we top the list of nations most in danger of facing more frequent and more intense storms when the impact of climate change intensifies," she said. Mrs. Arroyo noted that the recent destruction from tropical cyclones Ondoy and Pepeng caused an estimated $4.4 billion in damage to the country’s most populous regions of metropolitan Manila and urban centers in the northern Philippines. An Inconvenient Truth Reaction Paper The award winning documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, by Al Gore is an eye opener and somehow it is a wake up call for me. I have heard about global warming way back high school and heard it often when I entered college. I knew the meaning of the term global warming and that was it. I knew a little about it, what causes global warming and how fatal are its effects to Earth. And honestly, I never really cared. I was one of those people who treat it very lightly and after watching An Inconvenient Truth I was...

...Wayne Deming Instructor Jun Xu English 101 HYK May 15, 2015 Paper 1 First Draft It’s the little things that count Al Gore’s book An Inconvenient Truth while inspiring and deeply emotional is a book that ultimately uses “Big Brother” scare tactics to push people into changing. Ice melting, deforestation, extreme storms, and many other doomsday prophecies are all that we seem to have to look forward to if we’re to believe everything what is wrote in AIC. Much of what is wrote in AIC is not based on scientifically proven theories but more along the lines of hypothetical scenarios that are yet unproven. At this point we as individuals lacking the political power that could directly change the bigger scenario of what has already happened I propose that we quit trying to change global policies and focus on the smaller things in our daily lives that we have direct control over. The environmental movement of today urges people to change global policies by pushing their elected officials to vote for change that unfortunately would in the short term put many of their constitutes out of work in an economy that doesn’t have many jobs to begin with. This paradox goes against the rational logic of our elected leaders because if they were to vote for all the things that would protect our environment they themselves would be out of a job because by voting green they have put many of their constituents of work. It’s obvious that this approach to environmental change will not work with...

An Inconvenient Truth

..."What we take for granted might not be here for our children." This one of the many quotes environmentalist Al Gore uses in his movie, An Inconvenient Truth. This movie discusses global warming, and the terrible effects pollution can have on our planet. While I do agree that what we are doing is damaging our planet and needs attention, I feel that he used a bit of propaganda to sort of scare us into trying to make a difference. This movie really gets you thinking about the environment and what we are doing to it. The facts stated and the information revealed has shocked many, including myself. Gore used many graphs and statements to show us that global warming does exist, and it is causing many problems for us and the Earth. For example, he had stated in the movie that the top ten hottest years on record have occurred in the past fifteen years. The hottest year was the same year this movie was released, 2005. Imagine how much warmer it might be getting now! Also, it was shown that temperature increase is largely dependant on the amount of CO2 (carbon dioxide) released into the atmosphere. Gore also talks about how all of the fossil fuels we are taking for granted, and not only is it hurting the environment that we're using them so much, our children may not have the same luxury people have today.Besides the fact that our atmosphere and environment are being altered, Gore talks about how weather is affected as well. Gore states that hurricanes have become larger and more violent...

...Effects of Soil Pollution 1. Effect on Health of Humans: Considering how soil is the reason we are able to sustain ourselves, the contamination of it has major consequences on our health. Crops and plants grown on polluted soil absorb much of the pollution and then pass these on to us. This could explain the sudden surge in small and terminal illnesses. Long term exposure to such soil can affect the genetic make-up of the body, causing congenital illnesses and chronic health problems that cannot be cured easily. In fact, it can sicken the livestock to a considerable extent and cause food poisoning over a long period of time. The soil pollution can even lead to widespread famines if the plants are unable to grow in it. 2. Effect on Growth of Plants: The ecological balance of any system gets affected due to the widespread contamination of the soil. Most plants are unable to adapt when the chemistry of the soil changes so radically in a short period of time. Fungi and bacteria found in the soil that bind it together begin to decline, which creates an additional problem of soil erosion. The fertility slowly diminishes, making land unsuitable for agriculture and any local vegetation to survive. The soil pollution causes large tracts of land to become hazardous to health. Unlike deserts, which are suitable for its native vegetation, such land cannot support most forms of life. 3. Decreased Soil Fertility: The toxic chemicals present in the soil can decrease soil fertility and therefore...
