Analysis Of Christopher Siobhan's 'Second Reading Of The Mystery'

In the second reading of the mystery, Christopher starts exhibiting a rather different perspective on social skills. From the past reading to the current one, Christopher is depicted as being a blunt autistic child. For example; in reading I, page six, Christopher replies to the policeman by saying “The dog is dead.” This is an example of his impairment to express how he feels about a certain subject to certain people, mainly strangers such as the policeman. Another example of Christopher’s disability is in page three where he explains that Siobhan has to give him emoji’s to help him understand how people feel, and he remarks at the complexity of faces because they can mean different things. But in reading II, Christopher speaks to someone
