In the article “Don’t Blame the Eater,” David Zinczenco blames the fast food companies for causing obesity epidemic. First, he told his own story as a kid growing up in the 80’s when fast food was the typical choice and how it made him weight 212 pounds at the age of 15. Secondly, he accuses such company of failing to address warning label on high calories product which lead to the increase of number of diabetes patients from 5% to 30% of “all new childhood cases of diabetes in this country”. In addition, Zinczenco encourages the new spate of lawsuit against food industry with the hope to give children and their “busy parents” an opportunities to have a better and healthier food choice.
