Stories are one of the best entertainment sources ever. The reason why they are enjoyable is because of the connection that can be made with the text. It can be seen that Lencho from “A Letter to God” by Gregorio López Y Fuentes is similar to Charlotte’s mother from “The Metaphor” by Budge Wilson judging by the way they communicate to others, the style of their beliefs and how they do not show sympathy for events that happened during the story.
Firstly, the way Lencho wrote the letter is similar to how Charlotte’s mother writes to Charlotte. In the letter that Lencho wrote to god, he states that if he does not get His help, his family will starve so he “needs” a hundred pesos as if he is telling god that it must be done with no questions
