Books are a great way of gaining knowledge. Life without books would be very boring and people would have a hard time learning. Montag has a wife whose name is Mildred. Montag ends up getting hunted by a mechanical hound. Montag like many others ends up with a job of a fireman. They later marry. Montag begins to bring home books from his work and starts hiding the books. Mildred begins reading books Montag has brought home.
