...4/10/13 Self-analysis Essay During this short course of semester in English102, I have reviewed both my strengths and weaknesses. By reviewing both my strengths and weaknesses has helped me a lot to realize what I have improved, and what I still need to work on to improve. My two major strengths I have acquired during this semester are being abele to do my homework on time, and acquired the ability of outlining in order to control my idea through logically formulated outlines. What I need to work on to improve is class participation. I have improved my homework doing habit dramatically during this English 102 course. Doing homework has always been a complicated task for me before I attended this class. Since other English classes I took before were a full semester schedule, I used to come class with out doing my homework. Finally, when I registered in this accelerated and fast paced class, I realized that I had to do all my homework before I go class to follow my professor lecture very well. Now, I am able to understand what the professor teaches about. This helped me to follow the professor attentively during the lecture. Doing my homework in time is the most powerful thing I acquired during this course of semester. The second strength that I have improved a lot is my outlining ability to stick to my central idea. Before this class, I wrote a couple of paragraphs and essays on other English classes. However, I usually used to deviate from the main idea of my paper while I...

Job analysis is when most personnel functions because the methods of any job need to be precise. For example, in a job position the duties of that position should be clearly stated. This can be helpful as well in determining what skills and requirements are necessary to perform that job most efficiently. Also jobs are continually changing as time goes on so job analysis needs to take note of any changes periodically so that the current job duties and requirements are kept up-to-date. This means that the person doing the analysis should also be very familiar with that job and position. “A job analysis leads directly to the development of several other important personnel [tools]; a job specification, a job evaluation, and performance criteria” (Riggio, 2008, p. 57). ...5 Forces Analysis on the Paper Industry Looking at the position of the paper industry relative to the five forces model I had to determine exactly what constituted the paper industry. I had to decide between the Paper Mills Industry and Pulp Mills Industry and ultimately decided to analyze the Paper Mills Industry specifically when it came to paper industry as a whole. The NAICS Code that corresponds to the Paper Mills Industry is NAICS: 322121 or SIC Code 2621. Porter’s Five Forces Model of Competition includes the firm’s, or in this case the paper mill industry’s, position relative to current competitors, suppliers, customers, potential new entrants and potential substitutes. Over the next few pages I will conduct a five forces analysis of the Paper Mills Industry. Current Competitors: The degree of rivalry in the paper industry is the center of the five forces and the other four forces branch off of this. The first aspect to look at is the number and position of companies within the paper industry. There were 445 companies in 2009 and as of 2013 there are now 119 companies in the industry. This industry still has many competitors within the industry and therefor, there shouldn’t be any impact of any particular company. This industry is large enough where these firms can prosper without having to steal market share from each other and this is a positive for the paper industry. The second key factor is the industry growth rate and if there is room to increase revenues...
