Arabian Nights tells how two brothers Shahrayar and Shahzaman rule over separate lands. It's been ten years since they lived apart when Shahrayar once sends his vizier to summon Shahzaman for a vist to India. Before leaving to vist his brother the latter finds his wife in bed in his palace with the cook and he then murders them both. They both eventually return to their kingdoms. Shahrayar orders for his wife to be killed and swears to marry a new woman every night before killing them the morning so they can never betray him. Shahrayar continues doing this for awhile until his viziers daughter Scheherazade thinks of a plan and against her fathers advice she marries Shahrayar. Scheherazades plan is to tell him a different story every night that
