Mercutio Paul Ashfeld was killed on august 19th, 1584 while fighting his enemy, Tybalt Capulet. Mercutio died at the age of 21 years old. It is kind of ironic because he died of something that he really disliked. He died in the sangren courtyard, a few miles down the road from the capulet household. He had a really close relationship with romeo montague and benvolio montague. Some may say romeo had a part in this, by getting in the way of the swordfight and tybalt’s being misplaced.
