Message Analysis For this message analysis I chose to use correspondences sent between my UoPX Advisor’s and myself. The first message chosen was related to the financial status of my university account, followed by two messages concerning academic affairs information. Any of the messages I have received that were school related were always presented professionally, were written direct, getting to the point of the correspondence. Also enclosed in these messages, along with other useful information, is the contact information for the contacting advisor, along with appropriate times of contact, giving the recipient even more resources if further help is needed. All of the messages were sent via the official phoenix.edu mail server, and received at my registered university e-mail address. Again all of these messages were sent by members of the University of Phoenix advisory staff, furthering the professionalism of the e-mails. The environment used in these correspondences, was online, via e-mail technology. Since the introduction of e-mail over the internet, this technology has grown to become one of the standard forms of correspondences, rather than the more traditional methods such as mail couriers, and delivery services. Over the last decade e-mail technology has become one of the major sources for correspondence between individuals in both the work environment and in many homes around the world. Every day more and more individuals are getting access to the internet either with the use of home computers, laptop’s, and now with the introduction of the smart phone even more individuals are gaining access to the internet. Although personally I’d have to say I really don’t use e-mail to much for anything other than school related issues. The messages in question were very direct and to the point

These dialogues have certain components that show the importance of the message and try to communicate that importance in an effective way. The use of technology in the form of e-mail, text, and video chat has changed how business is conducted. There are advantages and disadvantages to using virtual communication.
