Annie Oakley was the womanly attraction of the Buffalo Bill’s Wild West. She started a legacy of women doing things that “only” men could do. When she stepped on that stage with Wild Bill it was a whole new world. She was the first women that started to give that chance to woman to go out and make a change on what the public thought of women.
Annie Oakley’s childhood was rough. She started out very well then it spiraled downhill. Her mother became very poor after Annie’s sister moved. So poor that she had to give Annie to an adoption agency. Annie was eventually adopted from a loving and caring Family. She was treated so badly by them she called them the wolves.
