In this essay, Ariely is looking at research studies about how people cheat and what makes them want to cheat. He starts by looking at a study that giving money does not make anyone want to cheat more. Next, he gave people tokens that can be traded for cash and people tended to cheat more on exams. To conclude he says everybody cheats in some way or other.

Becker and Ingrid Ulstad explore which gender is more likely to cheat. Firstly, they find out that Lot of students were accepting of cheating behaviors. Secondly, Research has theorized that social media leads males toward unethical action more often than females, especially when they feel the end justifies the means. The authors clarify that Females will act unethically when they are able to make excuses for themselves about why it is acceptable to break laws or rules, or when they fail to see the consequences of their actions as important. Males are more likely to take a risk than are Females but to conclude males and females act similarly about cheating.
