The official Apple mission statement focuses completely on the present-day Apple offerings and products that already exist. Apple is committed to bringing the best personal computing experience to students, educators, creative professionals and consumers around the world through its innovative hardware, software and Internet offerings. Apple is committed to ensuring the highest standards of social responsibility in everything we do. The companies we do business with must provide safe working conditions, treat employees fairly, and use environmentally responsible manufacturing processes wherever Apple products are made. “To produce high-quality, low cost, easy to use products that incorporate high technology for the individual. We are proving that high technology does not have to be intimidating for non-computer experts." Overall Apple mission and vision statement don’t forecast or let the outsider know what they want in the future other than to create great products. The full mission statement is a list of products rather than a true mission statement. That is true. The company doesn’t explain what values guide its decision making. Apple does little to communicate its purpose for being to its stakeholders other than it wants a good product for customer for customers, tech savvy or not. The organizational goals for Apple are simple, do what needs to be done to make the best product for the best customers. Apple has approximately 166 million customers and supporters all over the world, that’s a lot of people to please. They have a board in place to ensure checks and balances for the good of the company. The company has its customers in mind for the vision, making them money & customer motivated. I feel this is a great mission & vision for the company, being all about the people allows them to break away from the mold and have their own identity. As a manager I would love to work for a company like this. They are innovative and customer motivated, keeping the customer happy with amazing products will keep the money coming in and the jobs steady.
