Course Project
AJ DAVIS DEPARTMENT STORES

PROJECT PART A
In this course project, my aim is to present the statistical analysis of the data for Aj Davis departmental store chain, which has many credit customers and wants to find out more information about these customers.
In analyzing the individual variable, using graphical illustrations I would be using histogram, bar chart and a pie chart because there are useful when using numerical comparison.
The 3 individual variables 1) The 1st individual variable, I choose is the credit balance of the customers.
Credit Balance

Numerical Summary: | Credit Balance($) | Mean | 3970 | Median | 4090 | Mode | 3890 | Standard Deviation | 932 | Skewness | -0.15 | Range | 3814 | Minimum | 1864 | Sum | 198523 | Maximum | 5678 |

Interpretation
The mean credit balance of the customers is given as $3970. The standard deviation is given approximately as 932. The credit balance of the customers is more or less normally distributed with the peak of the bell shaped distribution lying in the range 3814. 2) The 2nd individual variable, I choose is the household size. Thus the number of people living in the households.
SIZE

Frequency Distribution | Size | Frequency | 1 | 5 | 2 | 15 | 3 | 8 | 4 | 9 | 5 | 5 | 6 | 5 | 7 | 3 |

Interpretation
The mean of the household size is known as 3 approximately as seen on Minitab. The median of the household size 3 and the mode would be 2. As seen in the bar chart above, the maximum number of a household size of 2 because it has a total of 15 members in the household. 3) The 3rd individual variable, I choose is the location of the customers.
LOCATION

Interpretation
It is a categorical variable. Since this is a categorical variable, the numerical summary is 26.0% of the location as seen above is rural, while 30.0%

The Just-in-Time philosophy is one such practice, however, research has predominantly focused on its technical features and on organisational variables, with surprising little research at the individual level. This paper examines JIT at an individual level and argues that the manager’s locus of control orientation would interact with their degree of JIT involvement to affect managerial performance. The results of a survey of 60 managers employing JIT, demonstrate that an increased degree of JIT involvement leads to a more positive effect on managerial performance for internal locus of control managers...

Research

...Business research, is a systematic inquiry that provides information to guide managerial decisions. More specifically, it is a process of planning, acquiring, analyzing, and disseminating relevant data, information, and insights to decision makers in ways that mobilize the organization to take appropriate actions that, in turn, maximize performance return on investment (ROI). At its most simplistic, when we measure ROI, we calculate the financial return for all expenditures. Increasingly, organizational managers want to know what strategies and tactics capture the highest return. management dilemma, the problem or opportunity that requires a management decision. Several factors should stimulate your interest in studying research methods: 1 1. Information overload. Although the Internet and its search engines present extensive amounts of information, the information’s quality and credibility must be continuously evaluated. The ubiquitous access to information has brought about the development of knowledge communities and the need for organizations to leverage this knowledge universe for innovation—or risk merely drowning in data. 2. Technological connectivity. Individuals, public-sector organizations, and businesses are adapting to changes in work patterns (real-time and global), changes in the formation of relationships and communities, and the realization that geography is no longer a primary constraint. With the increased acceptance and use of mobile technology, information...
