Mrs. Dima reported that Arabella has not had positive school experiences in middle and high school. Arabella has reported that she feels as though her peers are “fake,” selfish, and deceitful. She has had situations where her friends have betrayed her, or “stabbed her in the back.” Currently, Arabella has difficulty relating to peers. Mrs. Dima feels that Arabella matured quickly, and tends to surround herself with older people, rather than peers of her own grade level. Arabella tends to react in a more intense way, when she feels slighted or targeted by peers. She is currently not involved in any activities. She reported that Arabella also enjoys participating in physical education class and chorus.

Mrs. Dima also reported that Arabella has a history of cutting class and disciplinary intervention by the administration. Arabella has not been truthful with her parents about her drug use. Mrs. Dima believes Arabella started smoking marijuana about three years ago and was eating edible marijuana last year. She described Arabella’s academic strengths are in history and writing. She reported that Arabella thrives when she is interested and invested in a topic. Her academic weakness was reported in math. She has difficulty understanding math concepts, science assignments, and the …show more content…
Currently for the 2017-2018 school year, as of 4/11/18, Arabella has a total of 252 Course Absences. Also, Arabella has received two out of school suspensions. On 10/3/17 Arabella was caught smoking marijuana use on school property. On 12/8/17, Arabella displayed physical aggression towards another student. Lastly, she received a detention for cutting class on 4/17/18. Regarding her attendance and behavioral concerns, there have been parent meetings, and phone calls from the CHS administration.
