In today’s society, wildlife conservations are often consumed by industrial developments. Former US president Jimmy Carter, along with numerous other advocates, stands against these movements to preserve America’s ‘last truly great wilderness’. In his foreword to Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, Jimmy Carter implements vivid imagery along with personal testimonies to make emotional appeals to craft a convincing argument.
