Who knew that volcanoes were so hurtful? Volcanoes are destroyers to the land and the people of the Earth. The volcanoes we are talking about are active, the soil that came from the eruption from the volcanoes and specific volcano called Mauna Loa on a Hawaiian island.

First of all, the active volcanoes effects people and environment a lot more than regular volcanoes. These types of volcanoes effect people by destroying their town/village with the burning, hot lava that squirts from the top of the volcano.

Second is the soil and the volcanoes has “deposits of rock and ash in the surrounding area. These deposits are I minerals…” (McDonaugh 28). That line what it says helps the plants and the farmers so it does help the environment and people.
